    Abstract: Internal combustion engine for gaseous fuels having a combustion chamber (2) in which gaseous fuel is burned. The gaseous fuel is kept at an operating pressure in a gas tank (7) and fed to the combustion chamber (2) via a supply line (6). The combustion chamber (2) is connected to a fresh air line (10) through which ambient air is fed to the combustion chamber (2). The exhaust gas from the combustion chamber (2) is fed to an exhaust gas catalytic converter (14) via an exhaust pipe (13). A pressure relief line (16, 16?) with a switchable release valve (17, 17) branches off from the supply line (6), via which gaseous fuel can be discharged from the supply line (6).

    Abstract: A method for controlling an electromagnetically controllable gas valve. In order to open a seal seat, a solenoid coil acting on an armature is supplied with current so that a valve member interacting with the seal seat is lifted out of the seal seat by the armature and, in order to close the seal seat, the current supply to the solenoid coil is terminated so that the valve member is returned into the seal seat by the spring force of a closing spring, wherein the return of the valve member into the seal seat causes the armature to disengage from the valve member and perform a free stroke. A braking current is applied to the solenoid coil during the closing and, depending on the direction of movement of the armature, the current supply to the solenoid coil is interrupted and/or the current level is varied. A control device is also described.

    Abstract: A gas metering valve. The gas metering valve includes a housing, in which a gas chamber is formed, which can be filled with gaseous fuel via an inlet opening and from which gaseous fuel can be discharged in a metered manner via an outlet opening. A valve element is longitudinally moveably arranged in the gas chamber, and has a valve seal surface which cooperates with a valve seat for opening and closing the outlet opening. A magnet armature is connected to the valve element. A bellows is connected in a gas-tight manner to the valve element at one end and to the housing at the other end. The gas-tight connection with the housing is formed along a sealing line. The diameter of the sealing line is greater than the diameter of the valve seat.
