  • Patent number: 8714137
Abstract: In order to provide a carburettor unit for motorized equipment, in particular hand-operated motorized equipment such as a chain saw, a trimmer, a lawn-cutting appliance, a foliage clearing appliance or suchlike, having a housing , in which a throttle valve and a choke valve are held so as to be movable respectively between a closed position and an open position, which overcomes the disadvantages of the prior art and in which an incorrect position between the throttle valve and the choke valve is avoided, it is proposed that a locking element is provided, which is adjustable through the movement of the throttle valve and cooperates with the choke valve such that a movement of the choke valve into the closed position is locked when the motorized equipment is set in operation.

  • Patent number: 8394165
Abstract: A diaphragm carburettor is connected via a suction port with the clean air side of an air filter. A regulating chamber with a fuel chamber is connected with the suction port, in which the fuel chamber is acted upon with underpressure from the suction port and is separated from a compensation chamber by a regulating diaphragm formed to control the fuel supply to the fuel chamber. The compensation chamber is connected via a compensation path with the clean air side of the air filter and/or with the suction port so that pressure vibrations are reduced in the compensation chamber. A control and/or regulating element associated with the compensation path alters the length and/or the diameter of the compensation path.

  • Patent number: 6250449
Abstract: In order to improve a centrifugal multiplate clutch with a pot-type clutch drum and a rotor which has several disk shaped plates, fixed on a motor shaft, each plate having a hub and a centrifugal weight connected by a rocker bar so that, when the no-load number of revolutions is considerably exceeded, the centrifugal weight is moved radially outwards and frictionally engages the clutch drum, the invention proposes that the plate contour is continuously tapered in its width starting from the hub to the transition of the rocker bar into the centrifugal weight.

  • Patent number: 6202625
Abstract: The invention relates to a driving device for a motor driven vegetation cutter or the like with a two cycle engine showing an injection valve (12), a coupling placed in a coupling box (15), air intake and air blow-off devices, a fuel pump (17), a starter box (18) as well as eventual other additional sets. It is proposed so as to create a compact arrangement of the parts of said driving device with an optimal cooling and combustion to place the coupling box (15) and the starter box (18) on opposed sides of the two cycle engine and to direct the injection valve (12) with its jet direction onto the cylinder head or the ignition plug (11).

  • Patent number: 6196170
Abstract: The invention refers to a driving apparatus for a lawn trimmer with a two-stroke motor having an injection valve, a coupling power output, air intake and exhaust gas discharge devices and a fuel pump as well as other possible additional components. For providing a compact construction and for guaranteeing the operativeness of the motor by fuel cooling and specific air guiding, the injection valve and a cooling air fan are placed on the same side of the motor cylinder block as the output coupling with the injection valve having a nozzle jet orientation directed to the ignition plug.
