  • Publication number: 20050204562
Abstract: Method for the production of a spindle nut (3) of a spherical thread drive mechanism, whereby the spindle nut (3) has at least one screw-shaped track (4) formed as a single piece on its inner circumference, whose threads (38) are limited by shoulders (6). The shoulder (6) is interrupted by a deflecting recess (23) at at least one deflecting position, in order to deflect balls (13) out of one thread into an adjacent thread (38). The method includes locating a tool arbor (56) in a hollow blank (57), whereby the tool arbor (56) has on its outer circumference a counter profile of the screw-shaped track (4) and a projecting part (59) for each deflecting recess.

  • Publication number: 20050125139
Abstract: A method for operating an internal combustion engine, in which an erroneous lift of an intake valve of a cylinder is directly determined. The lift of an intake valve of at least one cylinder of the internal combustion engine is diagnosed. A value for a specific cylinder which is representative of the air/fuel ratio in the respective cylinder is determined in an exhaust system branch of the internal combustion engine. At least one such value is compared to a predefined value. An erroneous lift of the intake valve is diagnosed as a function of the deviation of this at least one value from the predefined value.

  • Publication number: 20050109312
Abstract: In an internal combustion engine, combustion air is supplied to at least one combustion chamber via at least one intake duct. The intake duct includes at least two parallel control sections, to each of which one final controlling device is allocated. Using these final controlling devices, the flow cross-section of the particular control section may be influenced. At least two final controlling devices are activated based on one single setpoint variable, and, in fact, using only one control and/or regulating system associated with the intake duct.

  • Publication number: 20050087637
Abstract: The invention relates to a hollow fiber spinning nozzle in which supply bores and a nozzle structure connected to these and having a mass discharge opening and a needle with a coagulation agent bore are formed in a base body. In accordance with the invention, at least two plate-shaped bodies structured by means of micro-structure technology are joined together to form the base body.

  • Patent number: 6705289
Abstract: A device and a method are provided to, with the aid of a limiting module, advance the maximally retarded ignition angle by a value with respect to the static combustion limit. The timing advance of the maximally retarded ignition angle may be used to avoid uncontrolled combustions in the exhaust, so-called exhaust backfirings. Such exhaust backfirings may occur in dynamic operating states.

  • Patent number: 6487996
Abstract: A device for the angular adjustment of a camshaft relative to a crankshaft of an internal combustion piston engine, particularly a vane-type adjuster comprising a stator and a rotor arranged coaxially to the stator, vanes of the rotor being pivotable by oil pressure in pressure chambers defined by radial walls of the stator. Fabrication work is reduced compared to stators and rotors made by sinter pressing by the fact that the stator and the rotor are comprised respectively of a stack of stator blanks (2, 2′) and a stack of rotor blanks (3, 3′), said blanks are made preferably by punching and are firmly connected to one another.
