Patent number: 11952063Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a trailer having a frame suitable for transporting an item, such as an oil drilling pipe. The trailer includes a plurality of stabilizers for supporting the frame over a surface, at least one axle attached to a plurality of wheels. The trailer further includes an axle pin group includes first and second axle pins interconnected to respective hydraulic cylinders. The trailer further includes leaf springs connected to respective sides of the frame and mounted to the axle. Retraction of the axle pins away from the leaf springs enables movement of the frame with respect to the axle due to the weight of the frame, if the stabilizers are retracted. In this configuration, the frame can be raised and lowered with respect to the surface. Methods of use are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2022Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: CW10K40 LLCInventor: Torsten Leines

Patent number: 11746553Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to an apparatus having a travel height truss including a frame suitable for transporting an item. The apparatus includes a boom which may be raised from the frame. The boom is raised and lowered by a hydraulic system comprising a travel height truss. The travel height truss may comprise two portions, telescopically connected to each other, one portion pivotably connected to the frame and the other pivotably connected to the boom. The travel height truss provides greater leverage than would otherwise be available for the maximum size and weight of the load available for a given (fixed) maximum length of trailer. In this manner, the boom frame can be raised to greater heights, while maintaining horizontal distance, than otherwise.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2021Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignee: CW10K40 LLC, Paracorp IncorporatedInventors: William P. Publication number: 20200247488Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a trailer having a frame suitable for transporting an item. The trailer includes a boom which may be raised from the trailer and support cables used to move the pipe from the trailer to a storage or other location. The boom is raised and lowered by a hydraulic system comprising a travel height truss. The travel height truss may comprise two portions, pivotably connected to each other, one portion pivotably connected to the frame and the other pivotably connected to the boom. Publication number: 20200248511Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to trailers having an extendable boom on which sections of pipe or the like can be supported for transport and lift at a job site, such as an oil rig. The boom has a rearward portion and a forward portion. The forward portion is configured to fold under the rearward portion in a folded arrangement and can pivot away from the rearward portion into an extended, unfolded arrangement. In this way, an effective working length of the boom can be extended/shortened while the boom is in full operation and without having to separately transport and maintain an extension for the boom.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2019Publication date: August 6, 2020Applicant: CW10K40 LLCInventor: Torsten Leines

Patent number: 10689924Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a trailer having a frame suitable for transporting an item, such as an oil drilling pipe. The trailer includes a boom which may be raised from the trailer and support cables used to move the pipe from the trailer to a storage or other location. The boom is raised and lowered by a hydraulic system comprising a primary cylinder and a secondary cylinder, each of which is attached to a lift assist assembly. The lift assist assembly provides greater leverage than would otherwise be available for the maximum size and weight of the load available for a given (fixed) maximum length of trailer. In this manner, the boom can be raised to greater heights, while maintaining horizontal distance, than otherwise. The lift assist assembly may be incorporated into an original manufacture or added in a retrofit application. Methods of use are also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: January 31, 2019Date of Patent: June 23, 2020Assignee: CW10K40 LLC, Paracorp IncorporatedInventor: Torsten Leines

Patent number: 6838641Abstract: The invention relates to a device for producing bound written material with representative covers, for marketing texts, magazines, construction plans, collections of drawings, contracts, offers and promotional literature (catalogues) as required in small to medium sizes. A heatable ceramic surface with an integrated heating element has several inductive and thermal sensors on its underside, for detecting covers with a metal inlay and for controlling the heat output. Said inductive sensors are partially also supplemented with sensors with microswitches, optical sensors and additionally, a pressure sensor if the device is to be used for binding covers consisting of non metallic materials at the same time. The very short time for heating up the ceramic heating surface made technically possible by the invention and the use of the stored temperature is made optimal use of through an internal flap system which is motor-operated.Type: GrantFiled: April 17, 2001Date of Patent: January 4, 2005Assignee: Copy-Lein GmbHInventor: Torsten Lein

Patent number: 6581970Abstract: The invention relates to a novel book cover which is used together with the known firm bindings, that is U-shaped steel bars. According to the invention, a flexible support material is arranged in two layers and in parallel to the flanks of a U-shaped bar. The layers of the book cover that are in parallel to the flanks are intimately glued together except for a flexible connection of two layers, that is either the support material is flexibly arranged in relation to its two layers or—as shown in FIG. 1—the inner surface of the flank is flexibly arranged in relation to the layer. The resin layer usually fixes the leaves, the resin layer being applied on the transversal insert of the support material. The transversal insert rests against the base of the U-shaped bar, that is it is not firmly linked with it, when the book is closed. When the book is opened, the bound leaves are vertically moved, thereby allowing the leaves to be turned so that they lie flat.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2001Date of Patent: June 24, 2003Assignee: Copy-Lein GmbHInventor: Torsten Lein
