  • Publication number: 20070227474
Abstract: The subject of the present invention concerns an engine-cooling radiator module assembly (1), an engine block (3), a radiator module (9) and a method for cooling an oil circulating in an oil circuit of an engine by means of a coolant. The coolant runs through a coolant channel which is formed both in the engine block (3) and in the radiator module (9). Parallel to the coolant channel there is a bypass channel (2) through which a partial coolant stream is conducted—parallel to a partial coolant stream flowing through the engine block (3)—to an oil/coolant heat exchanger (8). The radiator module (9) is at least partially integrated in the engine.
