  • Patent number: 11358841
Abstract: A shut-down buffer for a lifting device, in particular a chain hoist, includes two opposing end surfaces and at least two mutually spaced web elements extending between the end surfaces. The shut-down buffer is defined by the end surfaces, between which a through-opening for passage of a load-bearing element of the lifting device extends through the shut-down buffer.

Date of Patent: June 14, 2022
    Assignee: Konecranes Global Corporation

  • Patent number: 10604388
Abstract: An assembly kit for cable winches, comprising a cable drum, a drive motor, a transmission unit, and a supporting frame, where the assembly kit includes various transmission housing parts for the transmission unit in order to enable the assembly of a cable winch in a C shape or in a quasi-coaxial shape. A method for converting a cable winch, comprising a cable drum, a drive motor, a transmission unit, and a supporting frame, between a C-shape arrangement and a quasi-coaxial-shape arrangement, for which purpose the transmission unit, in the case of the use of different housings, in particular specific housing shells that can be assembled in order to form the different housings, is assembled differently for the C shape or coaxial shape while the same parts, in particular identical shafts, are used within the particular housing.

  • Patent number: 6966545
Abstract: A chain block with a drive motor (2) with a motor shaft (11), which is connected at the take-off side via a slip clutch (50) to a transmission input shaft (14), having a first gear (18a) and mounted in a housing (1) by pivot bearings (13, 13a), of an at least one-stage transmission (3). In order to create a simple design of chain block with a slip clutch, the transmission input shaft (14) is to be mounted floating in the pivot bearings (13, 13a) in order to change the frictional force of the slip clutch (50).

  • Publication number: 20050043132
Abstract: The invention concerns a chain pulley block with a chain wheel for positive-locking transmission of the lift force to the chain and a chain guide arranged in the region of the chain wheel, for guiding the chain, especially a round-link chain, on the chain wheel. In order to make it fast, easy and inexpensive to replace wearing parts, such as chain (3), chain wheel (4) and chain guide (2), it is proposed that the chain guide (2), the chain wheel (4) and the chain (3) be assembled into a structural unit (1), which is removably fastened to the chain pulley block (7).

  • Patent number: 6153992
Abstract: A running gear for hoists and suspended loads has a running rail with two spaced-apart travel tracks that support axially spaced-apart running wheels. An electric motor is coupled to a self-locking worm gear for directly driving one of the running wheels. The running wheels are rotatably supported in a frame to which an assembly for hoisting suspended loads is secured. In order to prevent the running gear from rolling and pitching during braking, which can cause increased wear of the running gear and the running rail, a control unit is provided which is operatively connected to the electric motor and determines a start-up rate during the start-up phase of the motor from an average increase of the motor torque as a function of time, and decreases the motor torque as a function of time at a slower rate than the start-up rate for slowing down the running gear.
