  • Publication number: 20030116045
Abstract: The invention relates to a washing bar for a printing press cylinder. Said washing bar comprises a flexible pressing element (6) that has an arcuate cross section and whose longitudinal edges (16, 17) are inserted between an inner strip (12) and an outer strip (18, 19). The inner strip (12) is detachably fastened so that it can be pulled out of the pressing element (6) in the longitudinal direction of the washing bar.

  • Publication number: 20030075064
Abstract: Dirty-cloth takeup roller for cleaning devices Dirty-cloth takeup roller for cleaning-cloth devices for cleaning running printing material webs or cylindrical rotating bodies in a printing machine or another machine in a print shop. From a longitudinal slot in a sleeve (4), on which the cloth can be wound up, a drive lip (10) for guiding the cloth in the direction of rotation can be extended radially counter to a spring force by an inner body (14) that can be inserted into the sleeve. The drive lip (10) gives the cloth roll an inner diameter which is greater than the outer diameter (12) of the sleeve (4). As a result, the cloth roll can easily be pulled off the sleeve (4) when the drive lip (10) is moved back into the sleeve (4).

  • Publication number: 20030000407
Abstract: The invention relates to a washing installation for printing press cylinders. A free-wheel drive (22) of a dirty-cloth roller (12) draws a section of a washing cloth from a clean-cloth roller (10) in each case via a pressing element (18) onto the dirty-cloth roller when a washing bar (4) that carries said components is returned from a washing position to a base position, and in the process a cloth transport lever (28) of the free-wheel drive catches on a first stop that is fastened to a holding device in which the washing bar (4) is guided. When the washing bar is inserted into the guides of the holding device, a lever arm (38) of the cloth transport lever (28) catches on a second stop that is provided on the holding device. This has the effect of moving the cloth transport lever (28) past the first stop (26) and simultaneously advancing the cloth from the clean-cloth roller (10) to the dirty-cloth roller (12).

  • Publication number: 20020189473
Abstract: The invention relates to a washing bar (2) for a printing press cylinder (4). A spray pipe (50) is inserted into a channel (56) and is radially supported therein and detachably fastened at both pipe ends by fastening means (58-1, 58-2). The pipe (50) can be removed from the washing bar (2) when only one of the fastening means (58-1, 58-2) has been detached.
