Abstract: An electrical conductor comprises three or more solid segments of identical shape. In cross-section, each segment comprises two sides, which are configured for flush bearing against correspondingly opposing lateral surfaces on another segment. The cross-sectional surface through all the constituent segments of the electrical conductor is describable by a closed curve having a stepless characteristic. All the constituent segments of the electrical conductor are stranded in combination.

  • Patent number: 10712006
Abstract: A gas turbine combustion chamber includes first admixing air holes having first inner and outer center points, and second admixing air holes having second inner and outer center points. The first and second inner center points respectively lie on a side of the first and second admixing air holes oriented towards the combustion chamber. The first and second outer center points lie on a side of the first and second admixing air holes facing away from the combustion chamber. An equation L=D2/D1*(D2?D1)/C2 is fulfilled, with L being a distance between the first and second inner center points and/or the first and second outer center points; D1 and D2 being flow diameters of the first and second admixing air holes respectively at an entry and/or exit side to the combustion chamber and C being an average flow rate coefficient of the first and second admixing holes.

  • Patent number: 10071616
Abstract: The invention relates to a cardan mounting for an air vent, comprising a fixed part and a moving part, which are each pivotably attached to a cardan ring, wherein the two pivoting axes are arranged at right angles to one another. The cardan ring is elastically deformable, circular-ring-shaped in the uninstalled state and extended along one pivoting axis and compressed along the other pivoting axis, as compared with the circular shape, in the installed state. The invention furthermore relates to an air vent having a cardan mounting of this kind.

  • Publication number: 20120151771
Abstract: A method for adjusting an axial biasing force of a shaft in a transmission is described that involves manufacturing a variety of shims of different lengths by bending wires into rings that are not closed along their circumference. Shims are selected from the variety of shims of different lengths dependent and inserted between the first tapered roller bearing and a housing wall of the transmission for adjusting a manufacturing biasing force. By heating the assembled transmission to an operating temperature, the biasing force is decreased below the manufacturing biasing force or becomes zero. This accomplishes a minimal friction and therefore a smooth synchronization while still avoiding play during operation.
