  • Publication number: 20090219413
Abstract: The present invention provides an imaging apparatus that enables a user to know a more accurate capacity that can be actually used for storage of image data. A control portion 7 houses image data, generated by an imaging portion 1 and processed by an image processing portion 2, in a storage portion 3 and erases data targeted for erase among image data that is stored by the storage portion 3. A capacity management portion 11 calculates the capacity of the data targeted for erase that can be erased by the time a capacity corresponding to a free capacity of the storage portion 3 prior to the start of imaging is consumed by new image data. Also, the capacity management portion 11 calculates the storageable remaining capacity corresponding to a capacity that consists of subtracting the capacity of the storage portion 3 consumed by the new image data from the capacity that consists of adding the free capacity of the storage portion 3 prior to the start of imaging to that capacity.

  • Patent number: 7330312
Abstract: An image blur compensation device for use with an image capture device including an imaging optical system and an imaging unit which converts a subject image captured on a light receiving surface thereof through the imaging optical system into an image signal. The compensation device includes a variable mirror which is provided on the optical axis of the imaging optical system and which has a displaceable reflective surface and an electrode to control the displacement of the reflective surface. A drive unit supplies the electrode with a drive signal to displace the reflective surface. And a compensation unit produces correction information to correct the drive signal.

  • Publication number: 20040150741
Abstract: An image-pickup apparatus includes a shape-variable mirror having a deformable reflection plane. When an image-pickup unit is picking up images, a control unit controls a drive unit so as to continuously feed a drive signal in order to maintain a displacement state of the shape-variable mirror. Therefore, during photographing, by maintaining the displacement state of the shape-variable mirror, required images can be obtained while at non-required time, electric power consumption can be reduced by stopping the drive of the shape-variable mirror. Also, prior to picking up images, in order to avoid the extreme defocus of the focal position of an optical system, exposure is controlled by applying a predetermined drive signal to-the shape-variable mirror, so that an object can be auto-focused in an appropriate exposure state, enabling a focal point to be correctly detected not depending on the brightness of the object.

  • Publication number: 20030103162
Abstract: Disclosed is an image display system which provides a display by joining projected images together, comprising a plurality of projecting means for projecting images, display means for displaying a single image by joining the images from the projecting means together, dividing means for dividing the images projected by the projecting means into a plurality of processing unit areas, and correction processing means for performing correction processing for each of the processing unit areas, wherein the processing unit areas differ in size between joint portions of the images projected by the projecting means and other portions than the joint portions.

  • Patent number: 6411361
Abstract: A size sensor detects a standard-size printing medium or a panorama-size printing medium. An image processing section selects image data for an area to be printed from the image data according to the detected size of the printing medium and subjects the image data in the printing area to an image process, such as enlargement, according to the size of the printing medium. A printer prints the processed image data on the printing medium.
