  • Patent number: 9733548
Abstract: The focal-plane shutter includes a blade drive member, an acceleration member providing a driving force to the drive member, and a lock member reducing bounce of the drive member after blade movement completion and being movable between a first position where a stopper portion thereof enters a movable area of a contact portion of the drive member and a second position where the stopper portion is located outside the movable area. During the blade movement, the contact portion pushes the lock member to move it from the first to second position. Before the blade movement completion, the contact portion is away from the lock member and thereby the lock member is moved from the second to first position by a biasing force. After the completion, the acceleration member pushes the lock member to move it from the first to second position.

  • Patent number: 9253385
Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes a pentaprism that guides incident light to an eyepiece optical system and a plurality of outer covering members. Among the photographing light flux incident from a photographing optical system, light reflected by a rotary mirror 52m is further reflected by the reflection surface of the pentaprism to thereby reach an ocular lens. A wireless substrate on which an antenna section is mounted is arranged between the pentaprism and a front outer cover. The substrate fixing member is a member for fixing the wireless substrate and the ground section of the wireless substrate is connected to the substrate fixing member at a position facing the antenna section with the optical axis of the eyepiece optical system therebetween. The substrate fixing member is attached to a pentaprism fixing member so as to be electrically connected to the ground section of the imaging apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8004941
Abstract: Test writing is executed while skipping areas where deviations are present on an optical disk to thereby improve accuracy and reliability of an optimum recording condition to be derived. A deviation detecting unit detects the deviations of a guide groove on the optical disk on the basis of a fluctuation amount of a focus error signal or a tracking error signal, and registers information of the detected deviations onto a memory. A test writing processing unit refers to the memory, and records and reproduces a test signal while skipping the areas where the deviations are detected.

  • Patent number: 7797572
Abstract: This invention provides a method of controlling switching of computers according to a cause of failure without preparing one standby node for each active node. For n active nodes (200), m standby nodes (300) of different characteristics (in terms of CPU performance, I/O performance, communication performance, and the like) are prepared. The m standby nodes (300) are assigned in advance with priority levels to be failover targets for each cause of failure. When a failure occurs in one active node (200), a standby node that can remove the cause of the failure is chosen out of the m standby nodes (300) to take over data processing.
