  • Publication number: 20090202134
Abstract: A print inspecting apparatus capable of identifying a page of a form corresponding to a clipped image without requiring a special barcode or printing, is provided. A print inspecting apparatus 1 acquires correct solution information which is associated with plural inspection areas EF and barcode area BC in one page and page information, and includes an inspection server 31 which sets plural areas to be clipped from the image corresponding to the inspection areas, a conveying motor which conveys the form in one direction; line scan cameras which read the image of the form, and inspecting terminals 32 which clips plural of areas from the image read by the camera to decode the image, and determine that the character string in the plurality of inspection areas falls under that of what page in the form, based on the decoded character string in the inspection area and the correct solution information.

  • Publication number: 20030165192
Abstract: An image transmission method is provided for transmitting compressed image data from a panning camera to a terminal device. The panning camera is connected to a telecommunication line and is capable of being controlled remotely. The terminal device is connected to the telecommunication line, and has an operation device for changing a shooting direction of the panning camera and a display for displaying a still image taken by the camera. In the image transmission method, a compression rate of the compressed image data is increased while the camera is moving to transmit the compressed image. The compression rate returns to a standard rate when the camera stops.

  • Patent number: 5347370
Abstract: Shading correction is effected by partitioning a white standard surface into a plurality of scanning blocks having the same number of scanning lines, scanning the standard surface by block to determine block median values in a first processing stage, determining global median values from the block median values in a second processing stage, and subjecting objective image data read from a given original image to arithmetic such as proportioning calculation. With the two-stage processing, shading distortion caused due to nonuniformity in sensitivity of an image scanning system can be rationally and reliably corrected to a high degree with a simple processing circuit.
