  • Publication number: 20050176001
Abstract: The first primer of the invention is a primer which, when used in PCR under appropriate conditions, serves to detectably amplify 16S rRNA-encoding DNAs of bacteria of the Escherichia, Salmonella and Vibrio genera, but when used in PCR under the same conditions, does not serve to detectably amplify either chloroplast 16S rRNA-encoding DNAs or mitochondrial 16S rRNA-encoding DNAs. The second primer of the invention is a primer which, when used in PCR under appropriate conditions, serves to detectably amplify 16S rRNA-encoding DNAs of Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus cereus, but when used in PCR under the same conditions, does not serve to detectably amplify either chloroplast 16S rRNA-encoding DNAs or mitochondrial 16S rRNA-encoding DNAs.

  • Patent number: 6714477
Abstract: Read buffers (RB0-RB3) are capable of holding data read out from a plurality of memory blocks (BNK0-BNK7) that are capable of parallel operation in response to a state in which the read data cannot be externally outputted from an external interface means; and, selection means (40, 41, 42) are provided for selecting data read out from one of the memory blocks, or data read out from one of the read buffers, and for feeding it to the external interface means, while the external-output-incapable state is not present. In this way, when there is a possibility that an output of read data will cause a resource competition, this read data is stored in a read buffer, and when there is no such possibility, then the read data can be externally outputted directly, thereby improving the throughput of read data output operations.

  • Patent number: 6707178
Abstract: A stator of the stepping motor of the invention includes an annular shaped yoke portion, a stator iron-core having twelve stator main poles each having a plurality of small teeth on the tip end thereof and stator coils wound in the stator iron-core as three-phase winding. The stator rotatably supports a hybrid type rotor having a cylindrical permanent magnet that is sandwiched between a pair of rotors each having pole teeth around the circumferential surface to be opposite to the small teeth. Second, third, fourth and fifth harmonic components are removed by composing cogging torque of the respective phases by means of the three-phase twelve-pole construction. Any one harmonic component of the cogging torque among the second to fifth harmonic components is independently erased by making a difference between the small teeth pitch and the rotor teeth pitch, thereby the selected harmonic component is doubly erased.

  • Patent number: 6570800
Abstract: The column address strobe signal (CAS) which is changed in cycles as many as a plurality of times that of a clock signal cycle is input to the memory block (MBK0 to MBKn). A plurality of serial data readout from the memory cell array (10) and parallel/serial converted by a parallel/serial converter circuit (21) in synchronism with a clock signal cycle are output for every cycle when the column address signal (CASADR) is changed. Parallel data input to the memory block and serial/parallel converted by a serial/parallel converter circuit (25) in synchronism with the clock signal cycle are written in the memory cell array. In this way, the access specification that the column address strobe signal is varied once per n cycles of the clock signal allows for a more rapid memory operation.

  • Patent number: 6520532
Abstract: An air bag module of a passenger side air bag apparatus is sized and shaped to pass through a glove box opening portion of an instrument panel. An opening in an upper portion of a casing of the module faces the inner surface of an air bag lid, which is molded in one piece with a top wall part of the instrument panel. A lower portion of the module casing is fixed detachably to a steering hanger beam via a lower locking mechanism capable of being manipulated via the glove box opening portion. The upper portion of the module casing is fixed detachably to the top wall part of the instrument panel via an upper locking mechanism. Both the upper and lower locking mechanisms are capable of being manipulated via the glove box opening portion for easy installation and removal of the air bag module, but reliably support the module, even when the air bag is inflated and deployed.

  • Publication number: 20030025306
Abstract: In an air bag system for a front-seat passenger, a main body portion of an emblem is brought into contact with a surface of an instrument panel at a reverse face thereof. A bolt provided on the reverse face of the main body portion to protrude therefrom is allowed to pass through the instrument panel and a mounting portion of an air bag module. A nut being screwed on and fastened to the bolt so that the air bag module can be fixed to the instrument panel easily and rigidly without using heat clamping which is less stable in quality. There is caused no risk that surface sinks are generated in the surface of the instrument panel to thereby deteriorate the aesthetic appearance thereof, since there is no need to provide bosses on a reverse face of the instrument panel for heat clamping.

  • Patent number: 6512562
Abstract: A protective film for a polarizing plate is disclosed in which an contact angle of the surface in contact with a polarizer with respect to pure water is less than 55° and the surface in contact with a polarizer becomes hydrophilic due to a plasma treatment. In such a manner, the protective film for the polarizing plate is readily adhered with a ployvinyl alcohol film employed as a polarizer and can be produced employing processing which is sage in work and does not adversely affect the environment. Thus highly efficient protective film for the polarizing plate, which exhibits excellent adhesion with a polyvinyl alcohol film, and a polarizing plate employing the same, are provided.
