  • Patent number: 8567875
Abstract: An anti-skid control device or an automatic brake control device gradually increases a W/C pressure for a boost control valve for a front wheel FR or FL on a high-? surface, by repeating a cycle in which the differential pressure for the boost control valve at the high-? surface side is kept at the first differential pressure for a first period, and after that kept at the second differential pressure for a second period. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the individual variation in the capability for W/C pressure boosting, and accordingly to suppress the difference of the W/C pressures between the right front wheel and the left front wheel. Thus, it is possible to suppress the yaw torque applied to the vehicle and therefore to suppress the spin of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20060046702
Abstract: When a call is on hold due to an operating input from a key input unit, a music signal processing unit plays back music stored in a memory card and transmits it as a holding tone via a audio signal switching unit and a wireless signal processing unit to a party on the other end of the line, so that a portable telephone capable of providing music of high tone quality and superior general quality as the holding tone to the party on the other end of the line placed on hold with no addition of any new device is provided.

  • Patent number: 6668010
Abstract: A PN code generation method of generating a pseudo random noise (PN) code sequence of n cycle (n is an integral number more than 1) having the synchronization relation with a transmission frame of m cycle (m is an integral number more than 1) and is not in, starts generating the PN code sequence keeping the synchronization relation with the transmission frame at start timing of a specific frame in response to identification information and start timing information of the specific frame out of a plurality of transmission frames.

  • Patent number: 5406625
Abstract: A determination is made whether recording by a recording apparatus is or is not feasible. This determination is made on the basis of whether or not scrambled reception signals can be descrambled. Recording is discontinued when it is determined that descrambling is not feasible. This prevents wasteful recording. A user can check visually and/or audibly to see whether or not descrambling has been effected. The user is thereby apprised of whether or not recording is carried out.

  • Patent number: 5289285
Abstract: In a CS broadcast receiving system, when a station is to be selected, an AFC process is first performed with the frequency in the tuning circuit adjusted in units of a coarse frequency adjustment value for reception of a CS television broadcast signal. When a receive signal to be selected by the tuning circuit is not the CS television broadcast signal, the AFC process is performed with the frequency in the turning circuit adjusted in units of a fine frequency adjustment value for reception of a CS.With this arrangement, it is made possible to increase the tuning accuracy when tuning in to the CS sound broadcast signal, while the time required for tuning is shortened and the waiting time reduced when tuning in to the CS television broadcast signal and, thereby, both the requirements for reception of the CS sound broadcast signal and for reception of the CS television signal can be satisfied.

  • Patent number: 4979028
Abstract: A video telephone displays a still picture in a first picture mode and a still picture in a second picture mode, which is smaller than that of the first picture mode, using image data transmitted over an audio signal transmission line and includes a memory having an address capacity corresponding to the size of the still picture in the first picture mode. In this video telephone, when image data of the still picture in the first picture mode is received, the image data is written in all addresses of the memory and, when image data of the still picture in the second picture mode is received, the image data is written only in predetermined addresses of the memory. This permits the same display read-out for all addresses of the memory to display the still picture whether in the first or second picture mode.
