  • Publication number: 20030208536
Abstract: Various electronic equipments used in a network conferencing system are integrally managed and presentation is made in a simple manner. When each attendant electronic equipment becomes a chairman terminal having an equipment management function, it inquires the availability of an electronic equipment used for a conference, then obtains information related to an available equipment from a client control section of a conference management server, and determines whether the electronic equipment used for the conference is an output electronic equipment such as a projector or a generating electronic equipment such as a scanner. Thus, an icon display of the generating electronic equipment and an icon display of the output electronic equipment are provided while separating an area for the icon display of the generating electronic equipment and an area for the icon display of the output electronic equipment, by the display function of each attendant electronic equipment.

  • Publication number: 20030174899
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to make it possible to adjust the amount of motion blur contained in a blurred image. A unit-of-processing determining portion 901 determines the unit of processing which is formed of pixel data located on a straight line. An equation generator 903 generates simultaneous equations consisting of a plurality of relational expressions based on the unit of processing. A calculator 904 generates foreground object components in which the amount of motion blur is adjusted by solving the simultaneous equations. The present invention can be applied to an image processing apparatus in which a difference between a signal detected by a sensor and the real world is taken into consideration.

  • Publication number: 20030164882
Abstract: The present invention relates to an image processing apparatus for generating an image having a high density in the direction of time and having a natural-looking motion blur. The correlation calculators 103 and 104 respectively calculate a correlation between pixel data of a target pixel in a target frame #n from among frames and pixel data of a corresponding pixel in a first frame #n−1 next to the target frame #n and a correlation between the pixel data of the target pixel in the target frame #n and pixel data of a corresponding pixel in a second frame #n+1 next to the target frame #n. The half-side pixel value generator 105 generates first pixel data in a first synthesis frame generated between the target frame #n and one of the first frame #n−1 and the second frame #n+1 containing the corresponding pixel having the pixel data with a larger correlation.

  • Publication number: 20030156203
Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, a mixture ratio indicating the state of mixture of a plurality of objects such as a background image and the image of an object is detected. A pixel value setter 502 extracts background pixel data while also extracting the date of a target pixel and a pixel in the vicinity of the target pixel. The pixel value setter 502 generates a plurality of relational equations indicating data of the target pixel and the pixel in the vicinity of the target pixel and the background pixel data. An arithmetic unit 503 calculates a mixture ratio indicating a mixed state of the plurality of objects in the real world with respect to the target pixel based on the relational equations. The present invention is applicable to an image processing apparatus that accounts for a difference between a signal detected by a sensor and the real world.

  • Patent number: 6475571
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a resin thin film of the present invention includes supplying a liquid resin material and a gas to a two-fluid nozzle by pressure; ejecting the resin material in the form of atomized particles toward a heating member by the two-fluid nozzle, thereby adhering the resin material to the heating member; or mixing a liquid resin material with a gas; ejecting the resin material in form of atomized particles toward a heating member that is provided under reduced pressure, thereby adhering the resin material to the heating member; and evaporating the resin material on the heating member to obtain the evaporated resin material. Thus, the present invention can provide a resin thin film having a uniform thickness stably with simple means at a low cost. The resin thin film obtained by the present invention can be used in a wide range, for example a magnetic recording medium such as a magnetic tape, a wrapping material, and an electronic component.

  • Patent number: 6165832
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a capacitor includes the step of depositing metal thin film layers and resin layers alternating with each other, thereby forming a layered product. The thickness of the resin layer and the metal thin film or the width of margins are measured during the deposition. At a predetermined point in the process of the deposition, the number of layers to be deposited further is determined, based on the measured values and an intended electrostatic capacitance or deposition thickness. The thus obtained capacitor has the intended electrostatic capacitance or deposition thickness with a small dispersion.

  • Patent number: 5352478
Abstract: A plasma display panel comprises a front plate disposed on the side of a viewer, a rear plate disposed in parallel and opposing the front plate, and cell barriers arranged between the front and rear plates of matrix shape or linear shape. The cell barrier is formed of a material including a phosphor. The cell barriers are formed by printing multiple times a phosphor paste containing glass frit in an overlapped manner by a screen printing method. The cell barrier is formed in another method in which a positive pattern of cell barriers are formed on the front or rear plate by using photo resist, a slurry containing a phosphor fills in portions except for the pattern of the photo resist, and the photo resist is thereafter removed to thereby form cell barriers. In the case of the cell barrier of a color display PDP, the cell barrier may be composed of a material containing phosphor of different colors each with a width corresponding to a one half width of the cell barrier.

  • Patent number: 5086297
Abstract: A method of forming a fluorescent screen for a plasma display panel provided with a front plate and a rear plate disposed parallel to each other and a cell barrier mounted on the front or rear plate and constituting a plurality of cells as display elements is characterized in that the cell barrier is located on a surface of the front or rear plate facing the other plate, a slurry solution containing a phosphor is filled in a portion defined by a cell wall of the cell barrier on the front or rear plate, only the wall surface of the cell barrier is exposed, and so a photosensitive layer containing a phosphor is formed at a portion inside the cell barrier. The fluorescent screen forming method is further characterized in another aspect in that a slurry solution containing a phosphor fills inside the cell of the cell barrier disposed on the plate, the plate is inclined immediately thereafter with an inclination of about 90.degree.

  • Patent number: 5009972
Abstract: According to the present blank plate and method for forming multi-color fluorescent planes, a photosensitive layer is formed on one side of a substrate and exposed to light from the other side thereof. The step of exposure to light is carried out with a combination of a full-color pattern including light-transmitting segments in coincidence with every color pattern with a single-color mask including light-transmitting segments corresponding to each color pattern. After the full-color pattern has been formed on the substrate, the photosensitive layer containing a fluorophore is formed and, then, exposed to light from the side of the substrate opposite to the side having the photosensitive layer formed thereon through the single-color mask attached in place, followed by development. The above steps are repeated to form a multi-color fluorescent plane having the desired pattern.
