  • Patent number: 9188671
Abstract: In a malfunction detection mode, a controller is configured to compare an output of a phase-detector obtained when controlling to input an oscillation signal to only the phase-detector, with an output of the phase-detector obtained when controlling to input the oscillation signal to both of a transmitter and the phase-detector. If a change (difference) of signal levels of the outputs is equal to or more than a prescribed threshold, the controller determines that there is no malfunction in the transmitter and a receiver. If the change of the signal levels is less than the prescribed threshold, the controller determines that there is a malfunction in the transmitter or the receiver.

  • Patent number: 8576664
Abstract: A moving object detection system is provided with an existence detection part, an integrating part and an existence judgment part. Based on first and second detection signals, the existence detection part calculates a rotation angle of each transition factor that is obtained from the first and second detection signals and rotates around the origin in a two-dimensional coordinate system. The existence detection part is configured so that the rotation angle becomes less than 90 degrees. The integrating part integrates each rotation angle to obtain an integrated angle. The existence judgment part judges whether or not a moving object approaching or leaving a receiver of the device exists in a detection area based on the integrated angle and a threshold angle.

  • Patent number: 8218395
Abstract: A moving object detecting apparatus includes: a transmitting/receiving unit for radiating an ultrasonic wave and receiving a reflective wave reflected from an object present in a monitoring space; a phase detection circuit for mixing reference signals with a reflective signal and obtaining a pair of Doppler signals each having an amplitude depending on a phase difference from the reference signal, each of the Doppler signals having a different phase from each other; a rotation angle calculation unit for calculating a rotation angle; a cumulative addition unit for accumulating the rotation angle; and a comparison unit for comparing the accumulated rotation angle with a threshold value. In the moving object detecting apparatus, a single ultrasonic vibrator is commonly used in the transmitting unit and the receiving unit.

  • Publication number: 20110307572
Abstract: There is introduced a wireless network system which can establish a complicated wireless network without cumbersome tasks. Arranged hierarchically, wireless terminal a is wire-connected to a master apparatus M, and wireless terminals b, c, d, e, f, g, h, and the like are wire-connected to slave apparatuses A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and the like. Wireless terminal a outputs a command outputted from the master apparatus M to wireless terminals c and the like whose ranks are immediately below that of the wireless terminal a. Wireless terminal c transmits the command directly or indirectly to wireless terminals d and the like whose ranks are immediately below that of the wireless terminal c. Wireless terminal d communicates with slave apparatus B through a wire, and returns a response from the slave apparatus B to the master apparatus M via wireless terminal c and wireless terminal a.

  • Publication number: 20040175978
Abstract: A connector with switching function, for example, used for testing an internal circuit of a mobile telecommunication equipment comprises a stationary contact and a movable contact which are ordinarily contacted, a housing with a contact storage cavity into which the stationary contact and the movable contact are inserted. The housing has an opening through which a center conductor of the probe is inserted so as to contact to the movable contact for switching the connection of the internal circuit. The movable contact is formed in a manner so that a plate spring portion is obliquely elongated toward a lower space of the stationary contact, an extension of the plate spring portion is roundly bent about 180 degrees so as to form a third contacting portion to which the center conductor of the probe is contacted.
