  • Patent number: 11762359
Abstract: A relay apparatus is provided to achieve high-speed control, while suppressing costs for communication with a plurality of devices, by notifying additional information of the devices to a master apparatus and increasing the efficiency of transmission/reception of signals among the master apparatus and the devices. The relay apparatus communicates with a plurality of devices through a single device communication port. The relay apparatus receives additional information from each of the plurality of devices; and transmits/receives signals in units of groups to which each of the plurality of devices belongs.

  • Publication number: 20230055743
Abstract: An information processing device that executes an arithmetic process includes a first processing circuit and a second processing circuit. The first processing circuit executes the arithmetic process N times consecutively. The second processing circuit executes the arithmetic process N times consecutively. N is an integer of 2 or more. The first processing circuit and the second processing circuit continue to operate according to a match between at least one result among the results of the N arithmetic processes executed by the first processing circuit and at least one result among the results of the N arithmetic processes executed by the second processing circuit. As a result, it is possible to suppress an increase in cost required for hardware and to suppress a temporary stop due to a temporary failure.

  • Publication number: 20220244695
Abstract: In the present invention a control device and a safety device establish a connection in accordance with a result of a comparison of connection setting information stored in the control device and setting identification information stored in the safety device. A support device is provided with a processor for executing a support program for assisting in setting the control device. A support program includes a first command for acquiring the setting identification information from the safety device and a second command for setting, in the connection setting information corresponding to the safety device, the setting identification information acquired in response to execution of the first command. Thus, the required identification information can easily be set even when a plurality of safety devices are connected to the same network.

  • Patent number: 9530309
Abstract: In a projector or an optical receiver, a master device produces pieces of definition information that determines timings of detection processes in the device including its own device and transmits the pieces of definition information to the slave device. The master device simultaneously transmits commands to require operations of internal timers to be synchronized with each other to the other slave devices in response to elapse of a time corresponding to a period in which a circulating period of the detection processes of the sensors proceeds by a predetermined cycle. Each of the slave devices corrects the timer in response to the command, and determines a timing at which a detection process should be performed with reference to a time point for correction on the basis of the definition information matched with its own device to execute the detection process.
