  • Patent number: 10890874
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus cover, first and second exposure units, and an orientation setting mechanism. The apparatus cover opens or closes by pivoting about a rotation fulcrum with respect to an apparatus body. The first exposure unit is disposed at a first position, on an inner surface, spaced apart from the rotation fulcrum. The second exposure unit is disposed at a second position, on the inner surface, closer than the first position to the rotation fulcrum. The orientation setting mechanism sets an orientation of the first exposure unit to a first direction approaching the apparatus body in a closed state. The orientation setting mechanism sets it to a second direction further away than the first direction from the rotation fulcrum and sets the orientation of the second exposure unit to a third direction between the first and second directions when the opening angle is a first angle.

  • Patent number: 9375802
Abstract: Provided is a plasma arc welding method for continuously welding a welding target part of a welding workpiece while forming a keyhole weld on the welding target part of the welding workpiece using a plasma arc. A pulse current is used for a welding current, and the pulse frequency of the pulse current is controlled so as to be a frequency that is synchronized with a weld pool (P) during the welding. With this approach, vibration of the weld pool during keyhole welding can be controlled so as to synchronize with the pulse frequency of the pulse current. As a result, when the plasma arc keyhole welding is performed, a stable penetration bead having a desired height can be reliably obtained without hanging or irregularity.

  • Publication number: 20140312011
Abstract: The method of monitoring keyhole welding with a plasma arc includes the step of measuring output voltages when welding is performed with a constant current, and the step of finding peak frequencies and distributions of welding voltages by analyzing frequencies of the welding voltages which correlate to a molten weld pool (P) vibration among the output voltages measured. The method also includes the step of identifying the peak frequencies that correlate to the molten weld pool (P) vibration, and the step of comparing the identified peak frequencies with a frequency range and determining whether the welding is good or bad. Thus, whether or not good keyhole welding is carried out can be determined with excellent precision by simply comparing the peak frequency that correlates to the molten weld pool (P) vibration with the frequency range.

  • Publication number: 20120258237
Abstract: The present invention provides in an environmentally-friendly manner a coating material for fried and/or deep-fried food capable of yielding fried and/or deep-fried foods exhibiting a high level of adhesiveness and excellent texture with a good balance between crisp feel and soft feel. More specifically, according to the present invention, a coating material for fried and/or deep-fried food consisting in an oil/fat-treated starch is prepared by using a non-modified starch as a raw starch for the oil/fat-treated starch, wherein the raw starch contains 25% by mass or more of a legume starch and whose amylose content ranges between 10 and 60% by mass. A better adhesiveness is demonstrated when the resulting oil/fat-treated starch has a viscosity retention rate equal to or higher than 75%.
