  • Patent number: 8600593
Abstract: An electrically powered vehicle is connected to an external power supply through a charge plug. A relay is interposed in an electrical path extending to a power storage device from a power feed node electrically connected to the external power supply through the charge plug. A control device operates with electric power from an auxiliary machinery power supply provided separately from the power storage device and controls opening and closing of the relay in correspondence with a period during which the power storage device is charged. None of electric power consuming components mounted on the electrically powered vehicle is connected to the power feed node. Therefore, even during a period in which the electrically powered vehicle is connected to the external power supply, all electric power consuming components can electrically be disconnected from the external power supply by turning off the relay.

  • Patent number: 7743273
Abstract: In a serial communication system in which data is transmitted from a first unit to a second unit in synchronization with a clock signal, the mode of communication between the first and second units is switched between a first communication mode in which data is transmitted from the second unit to the first unit in synchronization with the clock signal, and a second communication mode in which a signal asynchronous to the clock signal is transmitted from the first unit to the second unit.

  • Patent number: 4057695
Abstract: A telecommunication system includes a plurality of information transmission lines of various length, through which information signals are transmitted, active filters coupled to the information transmission lines, and a switching network coupled with the lines through the active filters, for establishing various connections between the lines in response to subscriber connection requirements. The active filters are of the type whose gain can be controlled and the gain is controlled in response to the length of the line over which the signals are transmitted, whereby the transmission loss of the line is compensated.
