  • Patent number: 5682187
Abstract: An ink jet recording head, which can be used in a recording apparatus, is manufactured by preparing a first base plate provided with an energy generating structure for generating energy to discharge ink, preparing a second base plate provided with a discharge opening plate member on which are to be formed ink discharge openings for discharging the ink and recessed portions for forming ink flow paths, the ink flow paths being communicated with the discharge openings, and applying an ink repellant treatment on a surface of the discharge opening plate at a side where the ink is to be discharged in at least an area where the discharge openings are to be formed.

  • Patent number: 5400630
Abstract: Flanges used in a photosensitive drum to be regenerated are assembled in a regenerated electrophotography photosensitive drum employing a regenerated cylinder having a diameter enlarged by regeneration processes. The regenerated electrophotography photosensitive drum is obtained by enlarging the diameter of the photosensitive drum to be regenerated whose photosensitive film has not functioned normally because of being used up or damaged during preparation or the like, cutting off the surface, including the photosensitive film, of the cylinder with predetermined precision with respect to the outer diameter and the surface, and forming a photosensitive film on the resultant regenerated cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5208604
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an ink jet recording head having an ink path communicated with a discharge opening, a discharge energy generating element disposed in the ink path and a discharge opening plate on which the discharge opening is formed. The discharge opening plate is attached to an end surface of the ink path. The discharge opening is formed by irradiating an excimer laser light on the discharge opening plate from a side of the plate which is attached to the ink path.

  • Patent number: 4417796
Abstract: A mirror box formed of metal serves as a metallic portion constituting together with a plastic portion an essential part for imparting strength characteristics to a camera body. The metallic portion is provided with a base for a lens mount and with similar parts for assembling other element. During molding, some of the metallic segments of the lens mount base are inserted as a framework into the plastic portion so that the metallic and plastic portions are constructed in the form of a unit. This unit is then assembled with other portions as the base unit of the essential part to complete a single lens reflex camera body.
