    Abstract: Provided is a cutting edge position adjustment mechanism for moving a cutting edge member mounted on a tool body with respect to the tool body to adjust the position of a cutting edge. The cutting edge position adjustment mechanism is equipped with a shaft member that extends between the tool body and the cutting edge member and threadably engages with the tool body and a nut member that threadably engages with the shaft member and abuts against the cutting edge member; a first screw section that threadably engages with the tool body and a second screw section that threadably engages with the nut member are provided coaxially on the shaft member at different positions along the direction of an axis line of the shaft member; and the thread pitch of the first screw section and the thread pitch of the second screw section are different from each other.
