  • Patent number: 6228011
Abstract: A method and apparatus for forming a bag-in-carton using a forming jig to shape a side-sealed closed portion of the inner bag in accordance with the related shape of the carton. The forming jig helps form a bag-in-carton having an inner bag formed with high precision and constant volume, thus ultimately permitting good discharge of contents in the bag-in-carton with little content in the inner bag after discharge.

  • Patent number: 5960993
Abstract: A container for fluidal materials, including a bag member made of a flexible film material originally constructed in a flattened shape with some foldings, a port member mounted to the bag member at its longitudinal end, and a plate member mounted over the bag member as originally constructed in a flattened annular sheet member made of a relatively stiff and elastic sheet material such as a cardboard, wherein the plate member is expanded into a tubular shape when the bag member is charged with a fluidal material but is readily flattened for disposal after the fluidal material has been discharged from the bag member.

  • Patent number: 5829637
Abstract: A bag-in-carton 1 comprises a substantially rectangular parallelepiped carton 2, an inner bag 3 and a pouring spout 5 attached to an inclined panel of the carton 2. The inner bag 3 is adhered to inner-bag adhering regions 9 provided on the substantially entire parts of the inside surfaces of the inclined panel 2g, a pair of side panels 2b, 2d which are adjacent to the inclined panel 2g, and a side panel 2a. The inner bag 3 is also adhered partially to the inside surface of a side panel 2c which is remote from the incline panel 2g. When a content is drawn out through the pouring spout 5, the inner bag 3 is gradually released from the inside surface of the side panel 2 of the inside surface of the carton 2 and is deformed, moved to the pouring spout 5.

  • Patent number: 5666238
Abstract: Servo sector numbers for identifying servo areas are recorded at predetermined positions in the respective servo areas on a disk. A plurality of data sectors are arranged between the respective servo areas. When a data sector is to be accessed, a servo circuit extracts a corresponding servo sector number. A CPU generates a data sector pulse at a timing corresponding to the start position of the data sector on the basis of the extracted servo sector number. The start position of the data sector is accurately detected in accordance with this data sector pulse, thereby reliably performing data access.

  • Patent number: 5636760
Abstract: A container for a fluid is formed of a soft, inner container for containing the fluid and a rigid, outer container, the inner container being disposed within the outer container, both containers having a discharge port common to each other. Approximately half from the discharge port side of the inner container bonded to the outer container.

  • Patent number: 5404807
Abstract: A three-dimensional image formation process and an image separating agent used therefor are provided. The process comprises the steps of passing a flowable image forming material through a perforated stencil sheet having a perforated image from one surface to the other to form a three-dimensional image consisting of a flowable image forming material (ex. silicone resin) corresponding to the perforated image of the stencil sheet on the other surface; pushing out an image separating agent (ex. CaCO.sub.3 paste) from the stencil sheet side to the three-dimensional image side to form a separation layer between the three-dimensional image and the stencil sheet; hardening the three-dimensional image in this condition; and separating the three-dimensional image from the stencil sheet. The above image separating agent contains a fine particulate thixotropic agent (ex. CaCO.sub.3) as a main component, and has one minute spread value SP of the following formula:SP.ltoreq.26+0.2X20.ltoreq.X.ltoreq.

  • Patent number: 5373969
Abstract: In a container, which is required to prevent refilling for security and other reasons, and comprises a tubular container main body having one end thereof closed by an end wall, the end wall being provided with a content taking outlet, and a piston member slidably received in the container main body, defining a containing chamber between the piston member and the end wall, a cap member closing an opening provided in the piston member is detachably mounted on the piston member, and the container main body is provided with a cap engaging member which irreversibly engages with the cap member when the piston member has approached the end wall by more than a prescribed distance. As a result, when an attempt is made to refill the container, the content will escape from this opening, and such an attempt can be thereby effectively prevented.

  • Patent number: 5012752
Abstract: A work piece setting apparatus including a sensor for detecting patterns of two work pieces, two holders for holding the cloth pieces, a moving device for moving the lower holder, a rotator for rotating the lower holder, a calculator for calculating a mismatch amount for the patterns according to signals detected by the sensor and a controller for controlling the moving device and the rotator according to the mismatch amount. The lower work piece is moved and rotated with the lower holder and the patterns of two work pieces are matched. After the work pieces are matched and set, a carrying device carries the work pieces to a sewing position from a setting position on a work table.

  • Patent number: 4388256
Abstract: A regenerated cellulose hollow fiber exhibiting a good cellulose II crystalline structure and an exchanged wet strength/wet elongation ratio is prepared by a process wherein: a dope comprised of cellulose ester in a non-volatile organic solvent is extruded through a circular slit defined between inner and outer tubes of a spinning nozzle having a double tube structure, while a core liquid is forced through the inner tube of said nozzle; the hollow fibrous extrudate is coagulated in a coagulating bath; the coagulated hollow fibrous extrudate is drawn 1.05 to 2.00 times its original length; and then, the drawn hollow fiber still containing a core liquid in the hollow is treated with an aqueous caustic alkali solution containing at least 0.5% by weight of a water soluble metal salt, thereby hydrolyzing the cellulose ester into cellulose.
