Abstract: A photographic printing apparatus includes an exposing device (5) for printing an image of a photographic film (2) on printing paper (3), a supplementary information exposing device (6) for printing supplementary information, such as a date, time and place of photographing, on part of the printing paper (3), and ND filters (31) or a liquid crystal panel (45, 46) for suppressing light projected to a selected region within a print region when the image of the photographic film (2) is printed on the printing paper (3). The supplementary information exposing device (5) prints the supplementary information in the selected region.

Abstract: An image printer includes a developing unit for developing a photosensitive material, a transport device for transporting the photosensitive material through an exposing position to the developing unit, an image exposure unit for exposing the photosensitive material with image information at the exposing position with dividing the image information into a plurality of lines extending perpendicular to a transporting direction of the photosensitive material. The printer further includes a measuring device for measuring intensity of light irradiated from a light irradiating end of the image exposure unit with respect to the photosensitive material and a correcting device for correcting the exposure amount based on measurement data of the measuring device.

Abstract: A photo-printing apparatus is provided which includes a projection exposure device for projection-exposing an image formed on a film, digital exposure device for exposing a digital image, a reader for reading print size data and image data of one roll of film, and a controller for calculating a digital exposure position on the basis of the print size data and image data read by the reader and conveying a photosensitive material to the digital exposure position, whereby a series of printing operations of the projection exposure device is achieved in parallel with a series of digital printing operations of the digital exposure device.
