  • Publication number: 20240147473
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to receive, from a network entity, a control message indicating a serving cell group including a set of serving cells usable for wireless communications at the UE. The UE may determine whether to monitor for a multi-cell scheduling message for the serving cell group based on activation states of the set of serving cells of the serving cell group, where the multi-cell scheduling message includes scheduling information for multiple serving cells of the set of serving cells. The UE may then monitor at least a portion of control signaling that includes the multi-cell scheduling message in accordance with the determination.

  • Publication number: 20240147515
Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a wireless device includes receiving a first bit sequence and a second bit sequence from an upper layer of a wireless communication protocol stack. The first bit sequence is assigned a first class and the second bit sequence is assigned a second class. The second bit sequence is included in a same medium access control (MAC) packet data unit (PDU) as the first bit sequence. The method also includes processing, at a physical layer, the first bit sequence with a first quality of service (QoS) level, and the second bit sequence with a second QoS level that is different from the first QoS level.

  • Publication number: 20240048341
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling that includes an indication of a configuration for wireless communications with a wireless device using a first operating band of a radio frequency spectrum band. The first operating band may include a first carrier that is paired with a second carrier of the first operating band. The first carrier may be separated in frequency from the second carrier and used for one of transmissions from the UE or receptions at the UE, while the second carrier may be used for both transmissions from the UE and receptions at the UE. The UE may use the second carrier for both transmissions and receptions using time division duplexing (TDD) according to the configuration. The UE may concurrently communicate messages with the wireless device using the first carrier and the second carrier.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select a default value for a radio parameter used for communicating with a network node based at least in part on whether the network node is a terrestrial network (TN) node or a non-terrestrial network (NTN) node, an orbit type associated with the network node, or a coverage type associated with the network node. The UE may transmit a communication, e.g., to the network node based at least in part on the default value for the radio parameter. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20230247477
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to buffer communications with a network node. A buffer size of a buffer used to buffer the communications may be specific to a non-terrestrial network (NTN) via which the UE communicates with the network node. For example, the UE may calculate the buffer size based on a maximum data rate of a connection with the network node via the NTN and a radio link control (RLC) round trip time (RTT). The RLC RTT may be specific to NTNs. The UE may use a buffer having the calculated buffer size to buffer the communications between the UE and the network node over the connection.

  • Publication number: 20230156529
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine that transmission of one or more first messages, to a wireless device and via a first radio access technology (RAT), does not meet a transmission quality threshold associated with the one or more first messages, wherein the one or more first messages are time domain multiplexed with one or more second messages that are to be transmitted to the wireless device via a second RAT. The UE may adjust a prioritization of the one or more first messages or the one or more second messages to prioritize the transmission of the one or more first messages over the one or more second messages. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Publication number: 20230042828
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for a signaling mechanism associated with activating a secondary cell (SCell) for uplink control information (UCI), including under circumstances in which the SCell is deactivated and belongs to a timing advance group (TAG) lacking a valid timing advance (TA) value. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) and one or more components of a network entity may employ a signaling mechanism for establishing an SCell as a PUCCH-SCell in scenarios in which the PUCCH-SCell belongs to a secondary TAG (sTAG) lacking a valid TA value. The signaling mechanism may include signaling to directly provide the network entity with beam measurement information associated with one or more SCells of the sTAG or may include singling that the network entity may use to derive the beam measurement information associated with the one or more SCells of the sTAG.

  • Patent number: 8965632
Abstract: [Object] The present invention provides a suspension control apparatus that allows miniaturization of a solenoid valve. [Solution] When a controller is started up by a power source controller (a power source unit), the controller switches a control current from 0 ampere to a maximum current value I6 at the same time as the startup. After that, the control shifts to normal control. As a result, even if a hysteresis of a damping force characteristic is large relative to the control current, it is possible to promptly move a solenoid valve to a position to be used in the normal control.

  • Patent number: 8718872
Abstract: A vehicle attitude controller capable of improving turning operability, steering stability, and ride quality of a vehicle. In a normal-operation region, a pitch control unit for calculating a target pitch rate in accordance with a roll rate performs control in priority to a roll suppression section. In this case, a target damping force calculated in the pitch control unit is weighed to control a damping-force characteristic of the dampers so that a pitch rate becomes equal to the target pitch rate. In a critical region in which a road-surface gripping state of the vehicle tires is bad, the roll suppression section performs control in priority to the pitch control unit so as to weigh a target damping force calculated in the roll suppression section. As a result, the damping-force characteristic of the dampers is controlled so as to increase the amount of roll suppression control.
