    Abstract: An embeddable and replenishable controlled drug release device which achieves drug delivery in which the drug release rate can be controlled is provided. The device can be replenished with a drug using a syringe and a needle when implanted in the body. The device has a capsule structure and includes (i) a controlled drug release part for controlled-release of a drug from the device, (ii) a drug storage part for keeping the drug and (iii) a drug introduction part for introducing the drug into the drug storage part. The controlled drug release part has a controlled-release face having a pore, and a hydrogel. The drug storage part is adjacent to the controlled drug release part, and releases the drug kept therein from the pore, and the drug is introduced into the drug storage part through the drug introduction part using a syringe and a needle.

In a double opening storage device, a lid has two shafts that extend so as to advance and retract along two rotation shafts. Each shaft has a cut portion which is obtained by a part of a circumferential portion of a leading end portion being cut out and disposed in a lower portion at lid closed position. The box body has two holes, formed in a side wall, corresponding to the two shafts of the lid, and has a projection that projects upward from a lower surface of the hole wall of each hole, and that moves the shaft upward when the lid is opened.

    Abstract: A leukocyte measurement device is provided with a spread inspection window at a position separated from an opening part along a spreading direction of a blood-derived sample in a carrier, for making the carrier visible from outside. When the blood-derived sample is dropped from the opening part, leukocytes contained in the blood-derived sample are captured by the carrier in the vicinity of a dropping position, while erythrocytes and/or hemoglobin and the like spread through the carrier from the dropping position into a predetermined direction. Therefore, in the leukocyte measurement device, seeing through the spread inspection window the color of the erythrocytes and/or hemoglobin spread from the dropping position can determine whether it has already been used or not, whereby a simple structure can prevent measurers from erroneously reusing it.

The apparatus comprises: a folding/affixing device which conveys a label, a label holder holds a front surface side of the label, a folding device causes a part of the label including a tag attachment site to project by folding the part from a rear surface side to the front surface side into an angular shape. Either traction is suppressed when the label is affixed to the product. A reader/writer has an antenna in a position facing the part of the label when the part of the label is folded, for reading and writing information from and to the RFID tag. A fold detector detects if the label is folded. The label holding device moves between a label suction position and a label affixing position. Folding is assisted from a rear surface side of the part of the label.

An ultrasonic probe cap is constructed by arranging a plurality of laminated small transducers each made up of a PVDF film, a PZT ceramic, or the like in a mosaic-like pattern or in other form on the inside of the cap and one or more transducers are selected and activated according to a thrombus position. As a high frequency for actuating a transducer, a continuous sinusoidal wave, a burst wave, or a pulse wave shall be used so that no standing wave may be produced inside the cranium.
