  • Patent number: 5611341
Abstract: An external trigger method in a magnetic resonance inspection apparatus includes the steps of inputting collectively imaging control data including an imaging portion of a subject, the kind of sequences, a time interval between the sequences and the number of times of repetition of the sequences, executing a pre-processing sequence corresponding to the imaging sequence set to be first executed, and checking whether the time interval until the start of the imaging sequence to be next executed is set to a predetermined value. The imaging sequence is started by an external trigger when the time interval is set to the indefinite value. The imaging sequence is started after the passage of the time of the predetermined value when the time interval is set to the predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 5165411
Abstract: A radio frequency magnetic field is applied to a sample or object to be examined which is placed in a static magnetic field and oscillates periodically, and nuclear magnetic resonance signals are generated from the sample. The NMR signal is transformed to a signal having a form wherein a still image component and an artifact component resulting from the periodic oscillation, that are contained in the NMR signal, are mutually separated, and then processing is applied to the signal thus transformed so as to remove the artifact component therefrom. Inverse transform to the transform described above is applied to the signal thus processed.

  • Patent number: 5003264
Abstract: MR imaging method and apparatus are disclosed in which one image is displayed such that a high-resolution image of a partial region obtained by measurement according to a low-speed sequence is inserted into a low-resolution whole image obtained by measurement according to a high-speed sequence.

  • Patent number: 4958637
Abstract: A magnetic resonance examining apparatus of heart beat synchronous type in which one heart beat period is substantially equally divided to provide a plurality of phases, and at least some of those phases are selected as imaging phases so as to obtain nuclear magnetic resonance images. In the apparatus, spin excitation is effected at all the phases including those where nuclear magnetic resonance images are obtained and those where nuclear magnetic resonance images are not obtained, so that all the phases have the same longitudinal relaxation time after spin excitation. Therefore, nuclear magnetic resonance signals free from variations of the longitudinal relaxation time can be obtained to provide clear nuclear magnetic resonance images at anyone of the plurality of phases.

  • Patent number: 4902972
Abstract: A method of and apparatus for generating nuclear magnetic resonance of an object. It is desirable that a nuclear magnetic resonance image be obtained in such a maner that a portion of the image in which the user is interested in is displayed in a greater scale. To this end, nuclear magnetic resonance signals from a specific region of the image are picke-up by an aliasing phenomenon, into a predetermined signal band which is different from the signal band of the above-mentioned specific region.

  • Patent number: 4653078
Abstract: A method of counting red blood cells suspended in a blood sample is disclosed which can judge the presence or absence of clogging in the sample passage system of a blood cell counting apparatus. In this method, for example, the counting of red blood cells for a period of 200 msec is repeated 50 times, the means value X and standard deviation SD of 50 red blood cell counts each indicating the number of red blood cells per unit time (equal to 200 msec) are calculated, and when one of the red blood cell counts deviates from the mean value X by more than 3SD, such deviation is judged to presage clogging in the sample passage system. Further, each of the red blood cell counts can be displayed on the fluorescent screen of a CRT display.
