  • Patent number: 9840982
Abstract: A spray coating film has a first spray coating film formed on a surface of an aluminum substrate and a second spray coating film formed on a surface of the first spray coating film. In the first spray coating film, an inorganic material with a layered crystalline structure is dispersed in a Ni-based alloy material, and an area ratio of the inorganic material is in a range from 40% to 80% relative to the sectional area of the first spray coating film. The second spray coating film is a porous film composed of ZrO2—SiO2 based ceramic containing 30% to 50% by mass of SiO2, and the second spray coating film has an area ratio of pores of 30% to 80% relative to the sectional area of the second spray coating film.

  • Patent number: 8936012
Abstract: The first aspect of the present invention is a cylinder head containing a water jacket in which a passage for EGR gas is disposed, and the EGR gas passage has a hollow pipe that is disposed in the hollow pipe and through which the EGR gas passes and an end member that is formed with an insert hole into which the end of the hollow pipe is inserted and fixed. The end member has a bottom that is provided with the insert hole, a side wall that is formed continuously to the bottom, and a wedge portion that is projected outward from the outer peripheral of the side wall and includes a inclined surface facing the wall of the cylinder head and inclined to the flow direction of the EGR gas. The EGR gas passage is fixed to the cylinder head by holding the wedge portion of the end member between a fastening member for fastening the EGR gas passage to the cylinder head and the wall of the cylinder head.

  • Patent number: 8020463
Abstract: A rotation/linear motion converting mechanism includes a shaft 1 having an external thread 1a on an outer circumferential surface, a nut 2 having an internal thread 2a on an inner circumferential surface, and a roller 3 arranged between the outer circumferential surface of the shaft 1 and the inner circumferential surface of the nut 2. The roller has a thread 3a threaded to the external thread 1a and the internal thread 2a. A spur gear 3b and a spur gear 3c are provided in portions of the roller 3. A spur gear 1b is provided in a portion of the shaft 1. The spur gear 1b is meshed with the spur gear 3b of the roller 3. Internal teeth 4a are provided in a portion of the nut 2. The internal teeth 4a are meshed with the spur gear 3 of the roller 3. This improves the lead accuracy of the shaft 1 when the nut 2 is rotated.

  • Patent number: 6298813
Abstract: A phase variation actuator has an outer rotor that is connected to a cam sprocket so that the outer rotor is rotatable together with the cam sprocket, and an inner rotor that is connected to a journal so that the inner rotor is rotatable together with the journal. The journal is rotatably supported by an internal combustion engine. A camshaft is inserted into a slide hole of the journal provided near the phase variation actuator so that the camshaft is slidable in the direction of the rotating axis of the camshaft. The camshaft is connected to the journal by meshing of splines so that the camshaft is rotatable together with the journal.
