  • Publication number: 20140315771
Abstract: A lubricating oil composition for a transmission includes a base oil in a range of 1 mass % to 80 mass %, the base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 40 degrees C. in a range of 0.5 mm2/s to 20 mm2/s and a viscosity index of 200 or more. Since the composition exhibits a high viscosity index and a high shear stability, the composition is suitable for a continuously variable transmission.

  • Patent number: 7236250
Abstract: A dynamic light scattering measurement apparatus using a phase modulation type interference method includes an optical coupler for dividing light from a low coherent light source, a converging lens for irradiating one of the divided lights to a sample 9, phase modulators for modulating the phase of the other divided lights, a spectrum measurement means for measuring a spectrum of the interference light of the phase-modulated reference light and the scattered light outgoing from the sample, and an analyzing means for measuring the dynamic light scattering of particles of the sample based on the first order spectrum corresponding to the basic frequency of the phase-modulating signal or a higher order spectrum corresponding to a frequency equal to two, three or the like times the basic frequency appearing in the interference light spectrum measured by the spectrum measurement means.

  • Patent number: 7119900
Abstract: A pollen sensor and method for detecting pollen which discriminates pollen particles floating in air from other particles on a real time basis. The pollen sensor includes an illumination position for generating a light beam, a first receiver for measuring the intensity (I) or (Ip) of a light beam scattered by floating particles in a detection zone, a second receiver for measuring the intensity (Is) of a polarized light beam in a direction perpendicular to light illuminated by the light beam and means for measuring the degree of polarization of the particles for distinguishing pollen particles from other particles.

  • Patent number: 5319174
Abstract: An induction heating cooker has a rectifier (13) for producing pulsating DC current, an inverter (14) which receives the pulsating current given from the rectifier (13) and produces a high frequency output current and a load circuit (15) including an output coil (21) and a resonance capacitor (22) connected in series to each other to receive high frequency output signal from the inverter, and the variation or adjustment of output electromagnetic power is made by changing duty ratio of the high frequency output current of the inverter by giving variable duty ratio setting signals to switching elements (Qa, Qb) in the inverter 14; the frequency of the high frequency output current of the inverter 14 is fixed, and therefore, unpleasant interference sound is not generated at parallel simultaneous operation.
