  • Publication number: 20180341608
Abstract: A first communication device and a second communication device are used in a communication system among which a communication signal is exchanged via a single bus, and include a driver circuit that drives the bus according to driver drive signals and a slope setter setting a slope to the communication signal. In both communication devices, (i) a drive of the bus by the driver circuit is validated (a) in a first period having the driver drive signals at a first level that instructs dominant and (b) in a second period, which is a slope period from a level change of the driver drive signals changing from the first level to a second level that instructs recessive until an end of a time delay corresponding to a slope, and (ii) the drive of the bus by the driver circuit is invalidated in periods other than the first and second periods.

  • Patent number: 9879676
Abstract: A multi-cylinder rotary compressor includes plural compression mechanism parts. A drawing force is applied to a vane of at least one of the compression mechanism parts radially outward with respect to a drive shaft, making a pressing force pressing the vane toward a piston smaller than in other compression mechanism parts. In a normal state, a pressing force due to a gas pressure difference between a suction pressure and a discharge pressure is larger than the drawing force, and a vane front end is pressed against a rotary piston peripheral wall. When the drawing force becomes greater than the pressing force, the vane front end is moved to separate from the rotary piston peripheral wall with a space through which oil is introduced from a sealed container, and a retention mechanism retains the vane separated from the piston, and the compression mechanism part switches to an uncompressed state.

  • Patent number: 8171631
Abstract: A positioning system used in assembling a scroll-type fluid machine exerts a horizontal thrust on a stationary scroll in a direction opposite to a direction in which an eccentric shaft end portion formed at one end of a rotary shaft is oriented while turning the rotary shaft, and determines an orbital path of the stationary scroll by measuring horizontal displacements thereof. While exerting the horizontal thrust, the positioning system incrementally presses the stationary scroll against a guide frame until a stable orbital path of the stationary scroll is obtained. When the orbital path is judged to be stable, the positioning system determines a fixing point on which the stationary scroll should be fixedly centered with respect to the guide frame, so that a scroll wrap of the stationary scroll and a scroll wrap of an orbiting scroll are correctly intermeshed, forming a series of pockets therebetween.

  • Patent number: 7722339
Abstract: There is provided a high performance compressor that causes no possibility of mixing foreign materials or of leaking refrigerant, that reduces strain otherwise generated in a compressor mechanism section and that is highly reliable even for a long-term use. The compressor mechanism section in which pairs of prepared holes are formed at a plurality of points on an outer peripheral face thereof is disposed within the closed container. Caulking punches are positioned to positions corresponding to those of the prepared holes and a region including the corresponding positions is heated. Then, when the punches are driven by pressing machines, portions of the container wall of the closed container plastically deform as the convex portions and enter the prepared holes. When the container wall cools down, the pair of convex portions of the container clamps a part between the prepared holes.

  • Patent number: 6375260
Abstract: A child seat is formed of a child seat main portion for holding a child, and a base on which the child seat main portion is detachably mounted. The base has a connecting portion to be connected to a vehicle, and a fixing device engageable with an engaging member of the child seat main portion. An engagement releasing member is installed in one of the base and the child seat main portion for releasing an engagement between the fixing device and the engaging member. In the child seat, a permission member is formed to cooperate with the connecting portion for allowing the child seat main portion to engage the base only when the base is connected to the vehicle. The child seat can be easily fixed to the vehicle.
