  • Patent number: 11876431
Abstract: A magnetic bearing contactlessly supporting a rotor by magnetic force includes: a bearing rotor member made of a magnetic material; and a bearing stator member arranged around bearing rotor member. The bearing stator member includes a core made of a magnetic material and a coil wound around the core. A longitudinal cross-sectional shape of the core has a first part extending in a first direction orthogonal to a direction opposed to the bearing rotor member and wound around with the coil, a pair of second parts extending from both end portions in the first direction of first part to the bearing rotor member side and subsequently extending in a direction approaching each other in the first direction, and a pair of third parts extending from respective distal end portions of the pair of second parts toward the bearing rotor member side. The bearing rotor member also includes a permanent magnet.

  • Publication number: 20230287893
Abstract: A rotor, a magnetic bearing, and a drive unit that rotationally drives the rotor. The magnetic bearing includes a bearing stator and a ring-shaped bearing rotor member. The drive unit has a drive stator and a ring-shaped drive rotor member. The bearing stator has a plurality of bearing stator cores consisting of a magnetic material, disposed on an outer peripheral side of the bearing rotor member. The bearing stator core has a first portion extending in a first direction orthogonal to a direction facing the bearing rotor member, and a pair of second portions extending to a bearing rotor member side from both end portions in the first direction of the first portion. The drive stator is formed so as to pass through a position between an outer peripheral surface of the rotor and the first portion core and between the pair of second portions.

  • Publication number: 20220268287
Abstract: A pump includes: a rotor; a magnetic bearing supporting the rotor by a magnetic force; a drive mechanism rotationally driving the rotor; a pump mechanism including an impeller attached to the rotor; and a control unit controlling the magnetic bearing which includes: a bearing rotor member in the rotor formed from a magnetic material; and a bearing stator member facing the bearing rotor member, the bearing stator member has: a core formed from a magnetic material; and a coil wound around the core, the drive mechanism includes: a driven member adjacent in a radial direction to the bearing rotor member; and a drive portion facing the driven member in the radial direction, and magnetically coupled to the driven member to drive the rotor, and the control unit corrects rotational position of the rotor based on a detection signal from a first sensor portion capable of detecting displacement of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 5885830
Abstract: An anti-ribonucleotide reductase (RNR) R2 subunit monoclonal antibody KM1054, KM1056 or KM1060, which belongs to the IgG2a subclass, reacts with R2 subunit of RNR, and inhibits RNR activity, is disclosed. It is effective for immunologically detecting RNR and for immunologically detecting the presence of human cancer cells.

  • Patent number: 5147018
Abstract: A hydraulically-operated piston device installed between the frame of a structure and a vibration-resisting element provided separately from the frame varies the rigidity of the frame by changing the condition of connection between the frame and the vibration-resisting element. A valve controls the operation of the piston device and can be adjusted to change the coefficient of damping of the piston device. To obtain maximum rigidity of the frame, the piston is hydraulically locked in place. For maximum flexiblity of the frame, the piston can be hydraulically released from a locked position to move freely. Hydraulic resistance to movement of the piston can be graduated by metering the flow of oil into and out of the piston device. The coefficient of damping is a function of the metered flow of hydraulic fluid in the piston device.

  • Patent number: 4883250
Abstract: A vibration-proof and earthquake immune mount system connecting machinery or a structure to a foundation which may be subject to external vibrations or earthquakes. The mount system includes a number of mounts operating in conjunction with a number of dampers, and both the mounts and the dampers function regardless of the direction of the external disturbance. In the mount this ominidirectionality is achieved by using a low-friction rolling contact between a ball attached to the machinery or structure and a dished surface attached to the foundation. Damping is provided by eddy current dissipation when a conductor plate attached to the structure of machinery and free to move in two directions is placed between the poles of an electromagnet which is integral with the foundation, and activated by a controller energized when a sensor detects motion of the foundation.
