  • Patent number: 5829936
Abstract: A resin flush-mounted plug (11) for insertion into an internally threaded hole (1) with a countersink (2) formed in a pallet of a machine tool has a head (12) for filling the countersink (2) of the threaded hole (1) and a pair of legs (13) formed integrally with the head (12) for fitting into an internally threaded portion (3) of the threaded hole (1). The head (12) has a tapered under surface (12a) for filling the countersink (2) of the threaded hole (1). Also provided in the head (12) is a slot (12b), a hexagonal hole, or some other recess for accommodating a screwdriver blade, a wrench, or some other appropriate tool used to remove the flush-mounted plug (11). The legs (13) project outward radially from the underside of the head (12). The outer peripheral surfaces of the fixed ends of the legs (13) to the head (12) are arranged on a circumference whose diameter is smaller than the inner diameter C of the internally threaded portion (3) (A<C with A the diameter of the circumference).

  • Patent number: 5381674
Abstract: A compact generator for an absorption refrigerating machine that uses combustion gas as a heat source, which enables stable heating. The generator 1 has a dilute solution inlet 3, a solution outlet 4, and a vapor outlet 5. A multiplicity of heat transfer fins 6 are provided on the outer periphery of a drum shell 2 of the generator. A circulation guide 7 is provided along the inner periphery of the drum shell. Openings are respectively provided in the bottom and top of the circulation guide 7. The solution outlet 4 has an overflow weir 10. The vapor outlet 5 has a downwardly facing opening 11 inside the can of the generator. The dilute solution inlet 3 is provided with a mixing chamber 20 which is separated from the solution in the drum shell of the generator and where the solution in the drum shell and dilute solution from the dilute solution inlet mix with each other.

  • Patent number: 4645125
Abstract: A transport mechanism for heat in housing includes the use of liquid media such as warm water and gaseous media such as heated air. For either of these heat transport media, a circulation pump or a blower is necessary with the exception of special cases. This invention relates to a heat transport method where the heat media is evaporated by a steam generator which is fed up to an objective heat emitting device through steam tubes. At this heat emitting device, the steam is condensed for utilization of the latent heat being obtained by this condensation to space heating, water heating and so on. Further, the condensed heat media liquid is once stored in a condensed liquid vessel which is under atmospheric pressure, and the heat media liquid inside the condensed liquid vessel is circulated into the steam generator via steam tubes by stopping the heating of the steam generator and utilizing the pressure reduction being caused inside the steam generator.

  • Patent number: 4613071
Abstract: Steam heating equipment for the interior of a room recirculating heating fluid after it has condensed in a heat emitter for heating the room. The heat media liquid is sealed in an enclosed steam generator which supplies steam to the heat emitter via a steam conducting pipe. The heat media liquid which has condensed in the emitter by giving up its latent heat to the ambient air, is stored inside a condensed liquid vessel which is under atmospheric pressure. When the heat media liquid inside the steam generator has been depleted to a certain level, the heating of the steam generator is stopped. The heat media liquid which has previously been stored inside the condensed liquid vessel is then recirculated into the steam generator through a liquid circulation pipe which is separate from the aforesaid steam conducting pipe, by utilizing a pressure reduction action within the steam generator causing its cooling.
