  • Publication number: 20100060172
Abstract: A light reflection surface member (2) is arranged on the bottom surface of a hollow unit case (1), a light emitting surface member (3) is arranged on the upper surface side of the unit case to face the light reflection surface member, and a hollow light guide region (10) is formed by being sandwiched by the light reflection surface member and the light emitting member. On the side surface of the unit case, an LED light source (5) is arranged. The LED light source has many LEDs (7R, 7B, 7G) in rows, and each LED emits single color light of red or green or blue. On two strips of light reflection surface member in the unit case (1), a color sensor is arranged for measuring illuminance of each color light entered the hollow light guide region from the LED light source (5).

  • Publication number: 20070090768
Abstract: The lighting device for a discharge lamp supplies HF pulse voltage from an HF power source circuit to an external electrode and lights an external electrode type fluorescent lamp 13 using rare gas. The fluorescent lamp 13 includes rare gas having a pressure of 120 torr or higher, and is supplied with a lamp current having a frequency in a range from 24 kHz to 34 kHz. The lighting device drives the fluorescent lamp 13 with high luminance and without flickering even under a light control is applied. Further, with the lighting device for a discharge lamp according to the embodiment of the present invention, the drive frequency of the fluorescent lamp 13 is selected from a frequency band ranging from 24 kHz to 34 kHz, in which an audible noise is not generated, in a high ratio light control mode including 100%. The drive frequency of the discharge lamp fluorescent lamp 13 is selected from a lower frequency band ranging from 20 kHz to 24 kHz, in a low ratio light control mode.

  • Patent number: 7109666
Abstract: A lighting device for dielectric barrier discharge lamp according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a pulse number judging circuit 16. The judging circuit 16 is supplied with a dimming control signal LCS designating a dimming ratio of a discharge lamp as an input signals and judges a number of the drive signal pulses per unit time corresponding to the dimming ratio from the dimming control signal LCS. The judging circuit 16 then outputs the result as the pulse number setting signal. The lighting device includes a drive signal generating signal 18, which is supplied with the pulse number setting signal and outputs the drive signal pulse of the prescribed number of pulse per unit time designated by the number of the pulse setting signal. The lighting device further includes an inverter circuit 10, which is supplied with the output of the drive signal generating circuit 18 and generates HF pulse for driving the dielectric barrier discharge type fluorescent lamp.
