  • Publication number: 20150143184
Abstract: A network management server stores, in terms of a transmission path within the network, each occurrence pattern of a failure occurrence area in which a failure has occurred in a communication apparatus through which the transmission path passes. Information for identifying a recovery plane serving as a set of recovery paths corresponding to each occurrence pattern and information for identifying the communication apparatus through which each of the recovery paths passes is also stored. When a failure occurs in any one of the plurality of areas, whether or not the failure corresponds to any one of the failure occurrence patterns, the information for identifying the recovery plane corresponding to the identified failure occurrence patterns is acquired; and the communication apparatus through which each of the recovery paths included in the recovery plane passes is notified of the information for identifying the recovery plane acquired.

  • Publication number: 20150002951
Abstract: An optical element includes a waveguide and a deflector. The waveguide propagates light incident at a predetermined angle while reflecting the light between the first plane and the second plane. The deflector is formed as a plate having a third plane being opposed to the first plane in the deflector, the first plane and the third plane are spaced apart from each other at a distance smaller than a propagation distance capable of propagating an evanescent wave of first light. The deflector has a plurality of reflecting surfaces arranged on the rear side of the third plane. The reflecting surfaces reflect the first light that has been incident on the first plane to be propagated as an evanescent wave, into a direction substantially perpendicular to the first plane. A medium interposed between the first plane and the third plane has a refractive index lower than that of the waveguide.

  • Publication number: 20140327666
Abstract: An example of a display control system displays, on a display device, an image of a three-dimensional space representing a real world or a virtual world. The object is arranged in the three-dimensional space on the basis of a line-of-sight direction determined in the three-dimensional space. In addition, an image in a field-of-view range, determined on the basis of the line-of-sight direction, of the three-dimensional space is displayed on the display device. The display control system arranges the object in either a first control mode in which the object is arranged on a reference plane set in the three-dimensional space or in an area near the reference plane or a second control mode in which the object is arranged away from the area. In addition, the display control system switches between the first control mode and the second control mode in accordance with the line-of-sight direction.

  • Patent number: 8840469
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a game system that causes a three-dimensional virtual game space 71 to be displayed on a display device in the direction of a predetermined line of sight. The three-dimensional virtual game space 71 has a plurality of objects appearing therein. After the direction of the line of sight is set, a frame setting plane 76 is set in the three-dimensional game space. Next, a frame coordinate value indicative of a position of each selected object projected on the frame setting plane is calculated. Based on the frame coordinate value, a frame is set. The frame is virtually set on the frame setting plane 76 so that all positions indicated by the frame coordinate values of the selected objects are located inside of the frame. Based on this frame, a display area to be displayed on the display device is determined.

  • Publication number: 20140270692
Abstract: An example of an information processing device obtains control data for a panoramic video. The control data includes a time condition and a direction condition. The information processing device displays, on a display device, an image of the panoramic video in a viewing range corresponding to a viewing direction determined based on an input on a predetermined input device. It is determined whether the time condition included in the control data is satisfied for a playback time point of the panoramic video being played on the display device. It is also determined whether the direction condition included in the control data is satisfied for the viewing direction determined based on an input. Based on a determination result for the time condition and the direction condition the information processing device performs a predetermined information process.
