  • Patent number: 6398441
Abstract: An oil based red ink for a ball point pen comprising at least one organic solvent selected from the group consisting of alcohols and glycol ethers, a resin and a colorant, wherein the spectral reflectance determined in the state where the ink for a ball point pen described above is filled into an ink reservoir is 20% or more at least in a longer wavelength area than 620 nm; and a spectral reflectance-rapid increase area which is the area where a difference between a spectral reflectance in the area and an average spectral reflectance in 400 to 560 nm is plus 4% or more is present between 580 to 600 nm. A color of this ink can be identified from the appearance through a barrel of the ball point pen, and the color thereof is close to the drawn line color obtained in writing.

  • Patent number: 5690442
Abstract: This invention provides a metal tip for a ball-point pen, having an ink guide hole (2) formed at the center of the bottom surface of a ball holding portion (1) and radial grooves (3) arranged around the ink guide hole. The ink guide hole has a diameter 30 to 55% the diameter of a ball and a length 1.2 to 2 times the diameter of the ink guide hole. A cleaning tool, used for removing a flash which is formed during formation of the radial grooves (3) by cutting (broaching) and which projects into the ink guide hole (2), is set to have a diameter 70 to 97% the diameter of the ink guide hole, so that only a base portion of the projecting flash is left.

  • Patent number: 5691863
Abstract: A power feeding device for VTR rotating drums coaxially provided on an end face of a rotating drum, which has magnetic heads in the vicinity of the outer circumferential surface thereof and is rotatably provided coaxially with a stationary drum, adapted to feed power to electronic components incorporated in the rotating drum, in which slits are provided on the slip rings making sliding contact with power feeding brushes in parallel with the axial line of the slip rings. Two slip rings are fixedly fitted to a rotating shaft made of an electrically conductive material in the axial direction in a mutually insulated state, and power is fed to the electronic components from the slip ring on the side remoter from the rotating drum via the rotating shaft.

  • Patent number: 4006766
Abstract: A pneumatic radial tire includes a carcass means having at least one rubberized carcass ply consisting of cords disposed at 70.degree. to 90.degree. to the equatorial direction of the tire, a pair of flexible side rubber layers secured to the carcass ply and forming the outer covering of the sidewalls, each side rubber layer composed of flexible rubber having a Shore A hardness upon vulcanization of 40.degree. to 55.degree., a rubberized breaker layer and a tread rubber layer secured to the tire crown. The breaker layer consists of cords disposed at 10.degree. to 30.degree. to the equatorial direction of the tire. The tread rubber layer has a width substantially equal to the width of the tire crown and at least a portion of the shoulders and is made of a highly abrasion-resistant hard rubber material with a Shore A hardness upon vulcanization of 55.degree. to 75.degree..

  • Patent number: 4007069
Abstract: A radial tire and a three-step process for making the radial tire. In the first step an intermediate tire assembly is made by assembling a carcass and side rubber layers. In the second step a green case is made by flexing the intermediate tire assembly and mounting a breaker and a tread rubber layer on the carcass. In the third step the green case is vulcanized. The tread rubber layer has edge portions made of the same rubber material as the side rubber layers.
