  • Patent number: 6954151
Abstract: A selector switch for a supervisory remote control system is provided. This control system comprises operation terminals such as switches and control terminals such as relays, and a signal line for connecting a signal transmission unit to the operation and control terminals. Each of the operation and control terminals has an individual address. The transmission unit provides a control signal to the signal line according to a time-division-multiplexing manner such that when one of the operation terminals is operated, a load connected to the control terminal in an address correspondence with the operation terminal can be controlled.

  • Patent number: 6888472
Abstract: An improved programmable timer unit can be incorporated into a remote control management system to actuate loads according a user's defined schedule without relying upon any additional supplementary device for data communication. The timer unit includes an input section for selecting a switch address of any switch employed in the system and a schedule specifying the actuation time and the control code for actuation of the target load or loads. A processor makes up a load management program based upon the schedule and executes the program for control of loads. Thus, the timer unit can alone emulate any one of the switches for controlling loads without relying on additional external device for the data communication.

  • Patent number: 6546435
Abstract: A portable programming device is used in a supervisory remote control system comprising a signal transmission unit for supplying a signal according to a TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) manner, first and second terminals having individual addresses, and a signal line connecting therebetween. According to a set of relation data including an address correspondence between one of the second terminals and one of the first terminals and control data including control parameters of a load, the load connected to the one of the second terminals can be controlled according to a supervisory input provided to the one of the first terminals.

  • Publication number: 20020147504
Abstract: In a remote monitoring and controlling system, a selector switch unit sets data for batch controlling and separately controlling operation of illumination loads and transmitting to the signal line a control request signal related to operation for the illumination loads based on the set data. A data memory stores therein set operation states of respective illumination loads and set dimming levels of respective illumination loads so that the operation states and the dimming levels are associated in correspondence therebetween. A control request signal containing the data stored in the data memory is transferred to a terminal unit. The terminal unit transmits a dimming-level instruction signal to its corresponding dimming terminal unit based on a control request signal of dimming level from the selector switch unit, and further transmits a display instruction signal of dimming level to the selector switch unit, thereby displaying a current dimming level.

  • Patent number: 5307058
Abstract: A remote supervisory and controlling System for remotely supervising and controlling loads in time-divisional multiplex transmission of control and monitor data between a central control and terminal units each connected to the central control unit through a two-wire line. Supervision and control of the overall system can be carried out from a plurality of locations so that failure of a central or host computer will not render the overall system inoperative.

  • Patent number: 4813888
Abstract: A high-frequency cable connector for relaying coaxial cables led from two different sides to each other comprises a case body having a receptacle for a terminal plug of one of the cables, a holder for holding an inner contactor for contacting therewith the inner conductor of a cable within the case body, a conducting shield plate secured to the bottom of the case body while exposing part of the holder to the exterior, and a cap plate rotatably mounted to the shield plate and holding the other coaxial cable. The connector allows the two coaxial cables to be connected in an extremely simpler manner, the connector itself can be installed along with any other type or same type of wiring devices, and respective components can be assembled in a single direction so as to render efficient its mass production.
