  • Patent number: 5634805
Abstract: A card receiving/ejecting device having an excellent operability and free from malfunction. First and second card receiving/ejecting units are vertically arranged adjacent to each other for accepting first and second expansion cards, respectively, for expanding a function of an information processing equipment. First and second ejection buttons are vertically arranged adjacent to each other at the side of openings formed in a housing. The first ejection button is directly connected to a first ejection lever, while the second ejection button is connected to a second ejection lever via an intervening spring which has a smaller elasticity than that of a second spring for urging the second ejection lever in a card inserting direction.

  • Patent number: 5601149
Abstract: A percussion hammer tool comprises a spindle 1 causing rotation about an axis thereof. The spindle 1 is driven by a motor M. A hammer 3, slidably coupled with the spindle 1, generates a percussion force to rotate and hit an anvil. The anvil is divided into an engaging portion 7 engageable with the hammer 3 and a tip tool holding portion 8 holding a tip tool 16. The engaging portion 7 and the tip tool holding portion 8 are locked with each other. A torque transmitting mechanism 11 makes the engaging portion 7 and the tip tool holding portion 8 displaceable with each other telescopically in an axial direction. A cushion member 10 is provided in a clearance 9a between the engaging portion 7 and the tip tool holding portion 8, thereby transmitting an angular component of the percussion force while absorbing an axial component of the percussion force. An additional cushion member 13 may be interposed between the spindle 1 and the anvil.

  • Patent number: 5558476
Abstract: An automatic drilling machine has an electric drilling unit on which a cylindrical cutter is rotatably mounted. The drilling machine includes a drill motor for rotating the cutter and a feed motor for linearly moving the cutter for the purpose of drilling into materials such as concrete. The current flowing through the drill motor before a drilling load is imposed thereon is detected for a microprocessor to determine the type of the cutter being used. The drill motor is driven at a rotation speed suitable for the cutter being used and the feed motor is driven at a speed such that the rotation speed of the drill motor thus set is maintained unchanged. Particularly, the drill motor is driven at a reduced rotation speed from the start of drilling until a predetermined drilling depth is reached to reduce chatter vibration which may otherwise be generated if the drill motor is driven at a regular constant speed from the beginning of drilling until the end.

  • Patent number: 5516675
Abstract: Lactoperoxidase, secretory component and lactoferrin are separated in high purity from milk and related materials such as whey with a single cation exchange resin. After adsorption on the cation exchange resin, elution is carried out with an aqueous solution having an ionic strength and pH selected to elute each separately. Lactoperoxidase is eluted first, secretory component second and lactoferrin last. Each is obtained in a purity of about 80% or greater. The cation exchange resin can be a cross-linked polysaccharide, cellulose or an acrylamide resin having carboxyl, sulfonic acid or phosphoric acid functional groups which may be attached with a spacer. The separated lactoperoxidase, secretory component and lactoferrin are biologically active and can be used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, foods, drinks and feeds.

  • Patent number: 5179197
Abstract: A secretory component-containing composition which is obtainable by contacting a milk or a whey with a cation exchange resin to allow the resin to absorb a secretory component contained in the milk or the whey and then eluting the secretory component and which has the following properties:(a) contains a secretory component with the purity of at least 20% by weight,(b) contains, besides the secretory component, at least an immunoglobulin and/or a serum albumin, and(c) has anti-infectious effects.
