  • Publication number: 20120095922
Abstract: In the present invention, a camera ID for specifying a camera that takes images to be sold is registered in a server in advance. The server issues an encryption key when the camera ID is registered, and the camera stores the encryption key and encrypts the camera ID by the encryption key to provide the camera ID to an image file including image data obtained by imaging. The server decrypts the encrypted camera ID provided to the image file transmitted from the user by a decryption key corresponding to the encryption key. If the camera ID obtained by the decryption coincides with the registered camera ID, the server authenticates that the image data included in the image file is imaged by the registered camera and discloses the image data to sell the image data.

  • Publication number: 20110085260
Abstract: A disk drive. The disk drive includes an acceleration sensor, a servo controller, a detection determiner, and a handling processor. The acceleration sensor has an associated resonant frequency. The servo controller is configured to perform servo control for head positioning using frequency components that are obtained by cutting off frequency components including the resonant frequency from output of the acceleration sensor. The detection determiner is configured to detect a frequency band including the resonant frequency from the output of the acceleration sensor to determine whether a magnitude of a voltage amplitude of the frequency band is outside of a specified range. The handling processor is configured to execute a corresponding handling operation if the detection determiner determines that the magnitude of the voltage amplitude of the frequency band is outside of the specified range.

  • Patent number: 7733589
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention prevent data loss due to very frequent writing onto adjacent data tracks. In one embodiment, an alternate zone made up of multiple adjacent data tracks is formed by setting data tracks whose usage is to be prohibited for every other data track. The data updated very frequently and data not updated too frequently are recorded in the alternate zone. Data tracks for recording the data updated very frequently, and data tracks for recording data not updated too frequently, each have one cylinder of spacing. Data loss due to leakage fluxes can thus be prevented.

  • Patent number: 7675701
Abstract: Detection capability of a servo timing mark (STM) is improved. Long STM is configured by pseudo-STM forming part of an AGC/PLL pattern and intrinsic STM. When a system can not recognize the intrinsic STM, it keeps a state that a sector detection window is opened, and is operated in a long STM detection mode to recognize the long STM, thereby generates an STM detection signal. After the STM detection signal has been generated, an STM detection window is closed, and the system is operated in an intrinsic STM detection mode. Since the long STM has longer bit length than the intrinsic STM, it has high discriminating power with respect to other bit patterns. Therefore, even if the sector detection window is remained to be in an opened state, bit strings of data sector, address information in a servo sector or the like is not falsely recognized.
