  • Publication number: 20120140517
Abstract: This invention has an object to provide an illumination device capable of selecting freely the contour of the light emitting portions and the light distribution feature according to the shape of the institution installed with this device and to user's desires, suppressing light brightness differences as well as light intensity profile differences due to viewing angle upon improving the light outputting efficiency, and being manufactured with lower costs. The invented illumination device includes plural light guide plates formed with reflection dots reflecting a shape of processing dots by pressing the matrix shaped processing dots provided at an ultrasound processing horn, an LED light source for rendering LED light enter into the light guide plates, and a holding member for holding the LED light source, wherein the plural light guide plates are arranged to have a major surface having the reflection dots to be angled differently.

  • Publication number: 20100314580
Abstract: After adding water to the carboxymethyl carrageenan which is raw material and mixing them well, the ionizing radiation of more than fixed dose is irradiated to the obtained paste sample of fixed concentration. As a result, an excellent hydrogel in heat resistance which does not dissolve at 50° C. or more can be obtained. The manufactured gel can be used for many kinds of products. Because this gel has a biodegradation characteristic, it is possible to dispose by composting.

  • Publication number: 20090085260
Abstract: A biodegradable aliphatic polyester, such as polylactic acid, is mixed with a monomer having allyl and molded into a molding having the crosslinking degree of the biodegradable aliphatic polyester increased. Thereafter, the molding is exposed to ionizing radiation to thereby obtain a molding excelling in heat resistance. Triallyl isocyanurate or triallyl cyanurate is used as the monomer having allyl.

  • Publication number: 20080070997
Abstract: A method of preparing a gel from carboxymethyl cellulose alkali metal salt, which is an anionic cellulose derivative, by using acid or acid solution. To increase the strength and the elasticity of a gel, a water-insoluble metal compound or organic reinforcement is added when mixing. The obtained gel is one of environmentally friendly type gels because the raw material is derived from plant.

  • Publication number: 20050242466
Abstract: The invention provides a process for producing a transparent polyactic acid material, comprising the steps of: kneading a polyactic acid with a monomer having two or more double bonds in its molecule; molding the kneaded product at a temperature of from the melting point of the polyactic acid to 200° C. to obtain a molded article; quenching the molded article after molding; and subjecting the quenched molded article to crosslinking treatment so as to prevent molecules of the polylactic acid from undergoing recrystallization. Also disclosed is a transparent polyactic acid material produced by the process.
