  • Publication number: 20070000203
Abstract: A set of building blocks are provided for building up to a unique structure using substantially simply designed blocks. The building blocks according to the present invention are classified into a first piece P1 and a second piece P2. The first piece P1 has a groove G provided therein of which two surfaces Ga, Ga are tilted symmetrically from the reference plane H orthogonal to a flat plane S or a plane S? including the flat plane S. The bottom Gb of the groove G extends parallel with the flat plane S. The second piece P2 has at least a corner edge thereof arranged at a right angle, when viewed in the lengthwise direction of the groove G, to engage with the groove G with its one side Af coming substantially in face contact with the grooves G. In particular, the width WS of the flat plane S is greater than the width WG of the groove G along the direction perpendicular to the reference plane H while the flat plane S and the groove G are coincided with each other at the center of the width WS, WG.

  • Publication number: 20040162365
Abstract: There are disclosed insulated ultrafine powder comprising electroconductive ultrafine powder which is in the form of sphere, spheroid or acicular each having a minor axis in the range of 1 to 100 nm and an insulating film applied thereto; a process for producing the same which is capable of covering the surfaces of the insulated ultrafine powder with the insulating film having a thickness in the range of 0.3 to 100 nm without causing any clearance or vacancy; and a resin composite material which uses the same. A high dielectric constant of the material is assured by adding a small amount of insulated ultrafine powder wherein an insulating film is applied to the electroconductive ultrafine powder, while maintaining the processability and moldability that are the characteristics inherent in a resin material.

  • Patent number: 6555928
Abstract: An electric vehicle comprises a first power source and a second power source. The first power source can be used to supply a substantially constant base power level and the second power source can be used to supply a variable power level such that a variable load demand can be filled by combining the base power level and the variable power level. The first source can be used to supply power to the second source when the second source is operating at a decreased charge or power level. The base power level can be varied based upon the remaining charge or power level contained within the second source. A number of control methods for operating the power supply of the electric vehicle are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 6500535
Abstract: The invention provides a heat-resistant, low-dielectric polymeric material that is preferably a copolymer in which a non-polar &agr;-olefin base polymer segment and a vinyl aromatic copolymer segment are chemically combined with each other, and that is a thermoplastic resin showing a multi-phase structure in which a dispersion phase formed by one segment is finely dispersed in a continuous phase formed by another segment. It is thus possible to achieve a polymeric material that is excellent in heat resistance, has high strength, and has a low dielectric constant and a reduced dielectric loss, and so is suitable for an electrical insulating material for high-frequency purposes.
