  • Patent number: 4112815
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a plastic fixing device which integrally comprises a shank divided into two opposed shank sections connected to each other at their respective lower ends through a hinge portion, a pair of resilient wings extending away and aslant downwardly from the upper ends of the shank sections and a pair of engaging leg members extending away and aslant downwardly from the lower ends of said shank sections, whereby desired fastening to a given panel is accomplished by boring a hole through the panel, inserting the engaging members of the device in their fully converged state through the bored hole and, upon complete passage of the hinge portion through the entire depth of the bored hole, opening the engaging leg members into their diverged state for thereby causing the divided shank sections to be received in their fully converged state into the bored hole and, at the same time, enabling the diverged engaging leg members to remain stationary against the panel and keep the entire fixing device from sl

  • Patent number: 4071930
Abstract: Disclosed is a pinching clip which comprises a pair of pinching arms interconnected through the medium of a hinge portion, an elastic brace disposed astraddle said hinge portion and joined at the opposed extremities thereof with the rear sides of said pinching arms, and damping pieces disposed one behind each said pinching arm in such a way that when the two pinching arms are closed by virtue of the pressure exerted thereon by the finger tips, the otherwise possible sudden closing motion of the clip will be retarded. When the clip is closed, the damping pieces disposed on the rear sides of the pinching arms produce an action of retarding the movement of finger tips, with the result that otherwise possible sudden closing motion of the clip is retarded when the clip changes form from its opened state into its closed state.

  • Patent number: 3991960
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for supporting electric wires, cords and other elongated bodies, which comprises a "U"-shaped frame body having a catch provided on one free end of the frame body, a lid member hinge-connected to the other free end of the frame body and a spring member extending from the inner wall of the lid member. In use, a plurality of elongated bodies are laid on the spring member, and the lid member is pushed down until the free end of the lid member is caught by the catch of the "U"-shaped main body, thus putting the elongated bodies in the rectangle space defined by the main body and the lid member. The spring member continuously applies a force to the lid member in its opening direction as a counter action resulting from the state in which the spring member is pushed against the bottom part of the main body and is yieldingly deformed. Thus, the lid member is positively assured from undesired opening and releasing the elongated bodies.

  • Patent number: 3958721
Abstract: A collapsable tube of synthetic resin materials and adapted to prevent oxidization of the substance contained therein. The body of the tube is constructed of a laminated sheet which, in one embodiment, comprises a polyethylene film an oriented polypropylene film, a polyvinyl alcohol film and a polyethylene film in the order named. Due to the provision of the polyvinyl alcohol film the sheet has an extremely low permeability to oxygen gas and odour and is highly resistant to oil. The oriented polypropylene film provides for the sheet increased rigidity as well as improved printability. A non-return valve is provided at the tube orifice in order to prevent the entrance of air thereinto thus causing substantially no oxidization of the substance contained.

  • Patent number: 3958300
Abstract: Disclosed is a plastic device for clampingly holding a length of electric cord which device comprises two "L"-shaped halves hinge-connected to each other, each having an L-shaped groove. In use, a length of electric cord is curved in the form of an L, and is fitted in the groove of one half, and then the other half is rotated around the hinge-connection to overlie said half in which the cord has been fitted. The two grooves constitute a complete round hole in which the electric cord is contained in a clamped condition. With this arrangement the clamp holder according to this invention assures a positive grip of the electric cord against any "pull-out" force applied to the electric cord.

  • Patent number: 3954294
Abstract: Disclosed is a plastic sealing device comprising a hollow, bottomless cubic body and a sealing strip integrally connected to and extending from said cubic body. The sealing strip has an arrowhead-shaped end, and in use, the arrowhead-shaped end of the strip is inserted in the slits of the hollow cubic body, and is pulled out of the cubic body, thus passing therethrough and closing the open bottom of the cubic body. After passing through the apertures of an object to be sealed, the arrowhead of the strip is inserted in a slit in the top plate of the cubic body until it is caught by catch means within the cubic body. The structure of the sealing device is conveniently amenable to plastic injection moulding and mass-production.

  • Patent number: 3936334
Abstract: A process for forming a collapsable tube having a flexible inner tube and a resilient outer tube. A shoulder member is formed having connecting surfaces. A flexible inner tube is joined to the shoulder member at a connecting surface. An outer tube encompassing the inner tube is joined to the shoulder member at a separate connecting surface so that the outer tube overlaps the joint between the inner tube and shoulder member. To resist permeation, the inner tube is formed by lap welding a laminated sheet of different natured materials and depositing a molten material along an edge of the sheet to seal it.
