  • Patent number: 6626013
Abstract: A washing machine in which a plurality of display image parts (ID=0 to 9) are disposed and displayed, on the basis of a display/arrangement structure, on the display surface of a display unit in which a transparent pressure-type touch panel is mounted, so as to form a display/operation unit which enables display and operation/instruction by depression. Thus, a user can change the layout of the display/operation unit and washing operations freely.

  • Patent number: 6557382
Abstract: An ion removes provided between a feed water valve for supplying water to an outer tub and a detergent supply case and an upper portion from the outer tub includes a cylindrical vessel in which sodium type strong acid positive ion exchange resin is filled up, a salt water vessel provided above the cylindrical vessel, and a salt vessel provided in the salt water vessel for receiving salt to enable plural regeneration of an ion exchange resin. Salt from the salt vessel is dissolved in water supplied to the salt water vessel and salt water having a concentration of about 10% is generated. After completion of every washing feed water cycle and every rinsing feed water cycle with an interval, the salt water is caused to flow into the ion exchange resin and the ion exchange resin is automatically regeneration-processed.

  • Patent number: 4874273
Abstract: An apparatus for holding or conveying an article to be held or conveyed by a fluid film having, in a holding surface or a delivery surface, fluid injection portions for supplying fluid at a low flow velocity to form the fluid film between the holding or conveying surface and the article to be held or conveyed.

  • Patent number: 4348065
Abstract: A thrust bearing or tapered-land thrust bearing including a plurality of lubricant feeding nozzle holes. At least one of the nozzle holes is disposed in close proximity to the leading edge of a tapered surface of a bearing surface of the thrust bearing. By this arrangement, hot oil carryover can be minimized and the temperatures of a film of lubricant formed between the bearing surface and a thrust collar positioned there-against and a bearing body of the thrust bearing can be reduced. Thus the thrust bearing can withstand uses under high speed and high load conditions.

  • Patent number: 4294494
Abstract: The invention is concerned with a sliding-type bearing suitable for use in high-speed rotary machines. The sliding-type bearing has a bearing surface provided with a lubricating oil groove at each of two portions thereof substantially 90.degree. spaced from the point to which the load exerted by the bearing is applied. A chamfer is formed in the portion of the bearing surface near one of the two lubricating oil grooves remoter from the point of the minimum bearing clearance which is determined by the direction of rotation of the shaft and the direction of application of the load by the rotary shaft. This chamfer permits the discharge of the heated lubricating oil to the outside of the bearing thereby to prevent the same from flowing into the point of the minimum bearing clearance.
