Publication number: 20240280483Abstract: Provided is a technique capable of reducing an influence of an inter-beam phase difference unrelated to a defect and accurately detecting even a defect having a low aspect ratio by a defect inspection device using differential interference contrast. To achieve the above purpose, provided is the defect inspection device using differential interference contrast that inspects a specimen using light. The defect inspection device includes: a light source configured to emit a light beam; a polarized light separation element configured to split the light beam into a first beam and a second beam which are polarized and orthogonal to each other; a sensor configured to detect a signal from the first beam and the second beam reflected from the specimen; and a processing processor configured to process the signal detected by the sensor. The processing processor uses a signal string obtained based on information around a measured point to be measured on the specimen to correct a measured signal at the measured point.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 14, 2021Publication date: August 22, 2024Applicant: Hitachi High-Tech CorporationInventors: Takeru UTSUGI, Toshifumi HONDA, Kenshiro OHTSUBO

Publication number: 20240189159Abstract: A stretchable sheet includes a first sheet, a second sheet joined to the first sheet by welded portions, and an elastic member that is disposed between the first sheet and the second sheet and stretches and contracts in a continuous direction in which the elastic member extends. The welded portions are disposed on both sides of the elastic member in an intersecting direction intersecting with the continuous direction. Welded portion pairs are disposed in which the elastic member is sandwiched and restrict a position of the elastic member in the intersecting direction with respect to the first sheet and the second sheet. The elastic member has a damaged portion where a part of a surface of the elastic member is damaged. The welded portion pairs include a first welded portion pair and a second welded portion pair.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2024Publication date: June 13, 2024Applicant: UNICHARM CORPORATIONInventors: Toshifumi Ohtsubo, Hirotomo Mukai, Takahito Nagai, Chieri Akino, Satoshi Mizuno

Patent number: 11744745Abstract: A method for manufacturing an absorbent article that includes: a first sheet body that includes two first sheets and a first elastic string that is stretchable and contractible in a left-right direction; a second sheet body; and a first weld portion. The method includes: (a) placing the first elastic string in a stretched state where the first elastic string is stretched in the left-right direction between the first sheets disposed in a thickness direction intersecting the left-right direction; (b) causing the second sheet body to overlap with the first sheet body in the thickness direction; (c) releasing the stretched state to bring about a released state; and (d) welding one end portion of the first sheet body in the left-right direction and one end portion of the second sheet body in the left-right direction to each other, to form the first weld portion.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2020Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignee: Unicharm CorporationInventor: Toshifumi Ohtsubo

Patent number: 10987255Abstract: A stretchable/contractible sheet having an up-down direction and a left-right direction intersecting each other includes a first sheet; a second sheet; welded portions; and elastic members. Elastic members are arranged between the first sheet and the second sheet by welded portions and with a space in the up-down direction. The welded portions include a first welded portion; and a third welded portion. The welded portions further include a second welded portion; and a fourth welded portion. The first welded portion and the third welded portion have portions that overlap in the up-down direction. A length of a portion where the first welded portion and the third welded portion overlap in the up-down direction is larger than a length in the up-down direction between a lowermost end of the first welded portion and a lowermost end of the third welded portion.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2020Date of Patent: April 27, 2021Assignee: UNICHARM CorporationInventor: Toshifumi Ohtsubo

Patent number: 10980678Abstract: A stretchable/contractible sheet having an up-down direction and a left-right direction intersecting each other is provided. The stretchable and contractible sheet includes: a first welded-portion row including a plurality of welded portions arranged side-by-side in the up-down direction; and a second welded-portion row including the plurality of welded portions located adjacent to the first welded-portion row on a one side in the left-right direction. The first welded-portion row includes: a first convex portion protruding toward the one side; and a second convex portion. The second welded-portion row includes a third convex portion protruding toward another side opposite to the one side in the left-right direction.Type: GrantFiled: January 24, 2020Date of Patent: April 20, 2021Assignee: UNICHARM CORPORATIONInventor: Toshifumi Ohtsubo
