Abstract: A theft preventing device comprises: a lock unit 11; and a coupling member 12 having both terminals 12a and 12b which are connected to the lock unit 11, at least one of the terminals being separable from the lock unit. In the device, the inside of the coupling member 12 is filled with a fluid including adhesive material, so that, when the coupling member 12 is damaged, the fluid is splashed out of the coupling member 12 whereby the adhesive material is stuck onto an object or objects around the device. Hence, from detection of the adhesive material, it can be determined who has broken it, and it can be confirmed that the lock unit has been locked.

Abstract: A regulator handle assembly for the positional control of a car window glass includes a handle lever combined with a spring-loaded manual knob arranged slidable and rotatable on a hollow sleeve made at the free end of the handle lever integral therewith. This knob is slidable relative to the hollow sleeve and in the outward direction when manipulating the handle so as to enlarge the overall height thereof against action of a coil spring mounted within the knob. When the manual operating pressure is released, the knob is automatically returned to its height-shortened normal position under the influence of the coil spring.

Abstract: A locking device for an openable automobile roof lid is provided. The base plate of the device is fixed to the edge of an opening formed in the roof panel. It is further formed with a hook portion at its one end. The lid to close the opening carries a handle at a portion corresponding to the hook portion of the base plate. To this handle, one end of a link is pivotally connected. From the other end of the link, a shaft pin projects and is rotatably fitted in the hook portion. To hold the shaft pin in the hook portion the base plate is provided with a stopper which is adapted to retract and release the shaft pin from the hook portion.

Abstract: A hinge device is provided for an openable automobile roof having a detachable lid. The device includes a hinge housing at an edge portion of the opening in the automobile roof panel, a linear passage formed in the hinge housing, a guide portion projected in front of the entrance to the linear passage, a hinge tongue attached to the lid at its front edge, a linear fitting part formed on the hinge tongue and adapted to fit the passage, and a stopper part formed also on the hinge tongue and adapted to abut the guide portion when the lid is placed at the closing position.
