Abstract: A culture equipment for bio-organisms such as animal cells and plant cells, having substratum and a circulation-inducing chamber, accommodating the material for substratum made of fibrous, or porous, or layered substance, such as of ceramics, plastics, resin or skin having a number of spaces in the substratum for adhesion or immobilization of microorganisms and medium permeation in the lid-containing vessel, and circulating the culture medium by a rotater device in the circulation-generating room is described in the present invention. The gas exchange of the culture medium is performed in the upper part of the vessel in the course of circulation. Growth and maintenance of micro-organism cells in mass and at a high density can be attained.
