  • Patent number: 6644057
Abstract: A separate-type air conditioner that can reduce the effect of voltage fluctuations in a commercial power supply (12) on a compressor (11), reduce material costs while maintaining vibrations of an outdoor unit (2) at low levels, and improve working efficiency during an assembly operation. The outdoor unit (2) includes a voltage correction circuit (14) to keep an output voltage to the compressor (11) constant (optimum) irrespective of the voltage fluctuations in the commercial power supply (12).

  • Patent number: 6497109
Abstract: An air conditioner capable of improving its assembling efficiency and reducing material costs. The air conditioner reduces the effects of the fluctuation in commercial line voltage (12) on the supply voltage to a compressor (11), while reducing the vibrations of its outdoor unit (2). The outdoor unit (2) is provided with a voltage correction circuit (14) that maintains the output voltage to the compressor (11) constant (optimal) regardless of the changes in voltage on commercial power supply line (12).

  • Patent number: 6434957
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an operation control method of an air-conditioning apparatus and an air-conditioning apparatus that prevent a plurality of air-conditioning apparatuses from simultaneously restarting upon their automatic recovery after a recovery of power and from stopping again due to a voltage drop. The air-conditioning apparatus of the present invention is provided with an automatic recovery control circuit (21) for deciding a delay time until a restart based on set data for deciding operation works of the air-conditioning apparatus or randomly, thereby to restart the air-conditioning apparatus with the decided delay time.

  • Patent number: 6354555
Abstract: A unit installation tool facilitates installation of a unit of a separate type air conditioner on a vertical member, preventing exposure of conduit to the elements, and improves the appearance. The tool has a yoke fitted to the vertical member with bolts, and a support part extended forward from the yoke, for mounting the upper part of the back side of the unit on its leading end. The mounted unit is supported at an upward position by a specified extent from the support part. A conduit space is formed on the support port between the supported outdoor unit and the yoke or the vertical member on which it is mounted.
