Abstract: As compounds is provided a pyrazole derivative of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1a, R.sub.1b and R.sub.1c are each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a nitro group, an amino group, a (lower) alkyl group, a halo-(lower)alkyl group, a(lower)alkenyl group, a (lower)alkynyl group, a (lower)alkylcarbonylamino group, a (lower)alkoxycarbonylamino group, a mono-(lower) alkylaminocarbonylamino group or a di-(lower)alkylaminocarbonylamino group;R.sub.2 is a hydrogen atom, a (lower)alkyl group, a (lower)alkenyl group, a (lower)alkynyl group, a (lower) alkoxy(lower)alkyl group, a (lower)alkylthio(lower)alkyl group, a (lower)alkylcarbonyl(lowr)alkyl group, a (lower) alkoxycarbonyl(lower)alkyl group, a (lower)alkylthiocarbonyl(lower)alkyl group, a cyano(lower)alkyl group, a (lower)alkylsulfonyl group, phenylsulfonyl group, a halogen-substituted phenylsulfonyl group or a (lower) alkyl-substituted phenylsulfonyl group, andX and Y are the same or different and each are a halogen atom.

Abstract: In a high voltage or current detector of the type utilizing an insulating tube, polarized light is directed to a photoelectric element mounted on the upper end or contained in the insulating tube so as to modulate the polarized light in accordance with the voltage or current to be measured. The modulated light is directed to a photosensitive element on the lower end of the tube for producing an electric signal which is applied to a meter for displaying the voltage or current.

Abstract: A process for the preparation of thermosetting resin powder paints comprising the steps of extruding a melt of a resinous composition for a thermosetting powder paint, continuously cooling the composition and forming it into a sheet, and pulverizing the formed sheet. Air blasting nozzles are directed at the sheet while it is on the cooling rolls. The adherence between the sheet and the rolls is improved, and the air blasting nozzles provide an auxiliary means for cooling the sheet.
