  • Patent number: 6652796
Abstract: In manufacturing glass fiber-reinforced resin moldings a peroxide is mixed into a molding material prepared by mixing glass fibers with a thermoplastic resin, and such a molding material is molded. The peroxide is fed together with the molding material in an injection molding machine, the molding material is heated and kneaded in the molding machine, and the glass fiber mixed molten resin is injected into a mold to obtain a molded body.

  • Patent number: 6399695
Abstract: The purposes of the present invention are to provide highly impact-resistant thermoplastic polyester resin inexpensively and promote the recycling of PET bottles, which are dumped as waste. To attain the purposes, a carboxyl-modified metallocene catalyzed polyolefin elastomer or a glycidyl methacrylate adduct to the elastomer is melt-blended with a thermoplastic polyester resin, particularly, the powder of recycled PET bottles. Additionally, a filler can be mixed, if necessary.

  • Patent number: 6075116
Abstract: The present invention provides a highly impact resistant polyamide composition which comprises a polyamide resin and an acid modification product of a metallocene catalyzed polyolefin elastomer. The invention also provides a less hygroscopic and highly impact resistant polyamide composition which comprises a polyamide resin, novolak phenol and an acid modification product of a metallocene catalyzed polyolefin elastomer. Used as the polyamide resin is less expensive nylon 6.

  • Patent number: 4525297
Abstract: An electro-conductive foam is prepared by mixing together 100 parts by weight of a resin component consisting of 10 to 90 parts by weight of a crystalline thermoplastic polyolefin type resin and 10 to 90 parts by weight of a low-crystalline thermoplastic resin with 5 to 40 parts by weight of electro-conductive carbon, by cross linking this mixture and then forming it by heating.By using the mixture of crystalline polyolefin type thermoplastic resins and low-crystalline thermoplastic resins as the resinous component, the present invention provides an electro-conductive foam having a good foam surface condition and capabilities of deep-draw forming. This electro-conductive foam is utilized as a material for semiconductor integrated circuit containers and similar applications.
