  • Patent number: 5067860
Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for removing any burrs or other undesired defects from a workpiece having a bore therein is disclosed. Specifically, those burrs or other defects that are to be removed may be present on the marginal edge or interior of the bore. The method and apparatus are specfically designed to allow a rotary tool to meet the specific relationship requirements between the number of revolution (n) and number of reciprocating motions (N), i.e., 1/3.ltoreq.n/N.ltoreq.1, when the rotary tool travels forward and backward within its specific stroke range.

  • Patent number: 4747233
Abstract: In a gyrofinishing machine, each of the gyratory shafts for holding individual works is controlled by the combination of rack and pinion and the crank mechanism for driving the rack and pinion combination so that the particular part of a work held by the corresponding gyratory shaft can be exposed for the longer time to the abrasive media used for finishing the work, and the gyratory shaft can be stopped at the particular position with high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4737692
Abstract: A deflection yoke unit to be mounted on a cathode ray tube has a core on which a set of vertical deflection coils and a set of horizontal deflection coils are wound. A pincushion distortion correction device is provided for the deflection yoke unit. The correction device has a set of correction coils having a coil conductor mass quantity and an inductance which are smaller than those of the vertical deflection coil set and having a winding density distribution which is similar to that of the vertical deflection coil set. An upper and lower pincushion distortion correction current is passed through the correction coil set to correct upper and lower pincushion distortions in pictures displayed on a screen of the cathode ray tube. The core has, on its inner wall, slots in which windings of the horizontal deflection coil set, vertical deflection coil set and correction coil set for correction of the upper and lower pincushion picture distortions are received.

  • Patent number: 4727684
Abstract: A high-speed work finishing machine includes a plurality of work finishing units each supported by a high-speed turret for carrying barrel containers to be driven for both orbital and axial rotations. It further includes a circulating transport path for carrying a barrel container from the unloading location where it is to be demounted from a work finishing unit to the loading location where it is to be mounted to the same unit, and various means disposed along the circular transport path between the unloading and loading locations, those means involving the handling of a barrel container and/or the works and abrasive media under the control of a central programmable sequential controller.

  • Patent number: 4725763
Abstract: A convergence correcting device for correcting mis-convergence of a cathode ray tube having in-line electron guns and, at the same time, correcting coma at the top and bottom of the screen, the device comprising pole pieces provided for the outermost electron beams for producing 4-pole magnetic fields used for convergence correction, a convergence yoke for applying the magnetic fields to the pole pieces, a convergence coil wound on the convergence yoke, a coil for producing a coma correcting magnetic field which cancels a leakage flux created between the right and left pole pieces by the vertical deflection coil, and current sources for supply currents to the coils.

  • Patent number: 4433318
Abstract: A deflection yoke for a picture tube of a projection color television receiver set has a solenoid-shaped auxiliary coil arranged adjacent to a core of the deflection yoke with a center axis of the auxiliary coil being aligned to a center axis of the deflection yoke. A vertical deflection current or a horizontal deflection current is supplied to the auxiliary coil. An electron beam is deflected by a magnetic field generated by the current of the auxiliary coil so that a raster formed on a face plate of the picture tube is deformed. The raster is deformed to such an extent that it has a correct shape when it is projected on a screen.

  • Patent number: 4420734
Abstract: A projection color television receiver set comprises three picture tubes juxtaposed to one another and producing red, green and blue light images which are projected through respective lenses onto a single screen to be reproduced as a single synthesized color picture. In order that rectangular rasters produced by the picture tubes disposed at both sides of the center picture tube are prevented from being deformed into trapezoidal rasters when projected on the screen, deflecting yokes used in the lateral picture tubes are provided with horizontal deflection winding in such arrangement that trapezoidal rasters are produced on faceplates of the laterally disposed picture tubes, respectively, which rasters are projected in a rectangular form on the single screen in alignment with the rectangular raster produced and projected from the center picture tube, whereby a color picture of an improved quality is reproduced on the screen, involving substantially no misconvergence.

  • Patent number: 4246560
Abstract: A deflection yoke for use with a picture tube of a television receiver. A vertical deflection coil of the deflection coil has a larger winding angle on an electron gun side thereof than on a screen side thereof. A magnetic material piece is disposed inside the vertical deflection coil so that a vertical deflection magnetic field is formed into a strong barrel magnetic field on the electron gun side. As a result, a raster scanned on a faceplate of the picture tube is free from misconvergence and pincushion distortion. A core of the deflection yoke has sawtooth-shaped end surfaces, or auxiliary rings having sawtooth-shaped end surfaces are disposed on the end surfaces of the core. As a result, a wire of the vertical deflection coil is prevented from slipping on the end surfaces of the core although the wire of the vertical deflection coil is wound at a large winding angle on the electron gun side.
