  • Publication number: 20020002007
Abstract: Board terminals 12, each including a tapering insertion portion 13 for insertion into a through hole in a board, a soldering portion 14 to be soldered to the board, and a connection portion 15 for connection to a mating terminal, are produced from a square wire 11, the insertion portion, the soldering portion and the connection portion being continuously arranged in this order in a direction of a length of the board terminal. The square wire 11 has a width larger than a thickness thereof. The insertion portion 13 is formed by pressing the square wire, and the soldering portion 14 is formed by cutting or pressing widthwise opposite side portions of that portion of the square wire extending from the insertion portion 13, the soldering portion having a width smaller than the width of the square wire. Those portions, removed from the square wire by cutting or pressing, are very small, and generally the whole of the square wire can be formed into the board terminal, and therefore a loss of the material is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6320130
Abstract: A circuit body consisting of two circuit members 11, 12 is provided. In each circuit member, a plurality of bus bars 13 are juxtaposed at regular intervals and carried by resinous holders 14, 15. In producing, the circuit members 11, 12 are mutually overlapped by slide movement of the circuit member 11 on one hand along the circuit member 12 on the other hand. Then, the so-laminated circuit members 11, 12 are fixed to each other by means of resinous molding. The circuit member 11 is provided with an adjusting part 21. When sliding the circuit member 11, the adjusting part 21 comes into prior contact with the circuit member 12, so that respective connecting parts 20 of the bus bars 13 of the circuit member 11 are raised from the circuit member 12.

  • Patent number: 6283798
Abstract: A terminal structure designed to prevent bus bars from being brought into contact with and rubbing against each other when the terminal structure is built of a plurality of bus bars which are fixed by resin-molding. Circuit members are formed with a plurality of bus bars respectively constituting internal circuits. The plurality of bus bars are coupled together by respective coupling portions in parallel with a space provided between the bus bars. The circuit members are successively set in a mold in such a way that the bus bars of the other circuit member are fitted in between the bus bars of one circuit member without contact with the bus bars of the one circuit member whereby the bus bars in that set condition are fixed by resin-molding. Moreover, a position regulating portion is provided by bending the coupling portion of the other circuit member, so that the other circuit member is temporarily set therein with a space formed from the bus bars of the one circuit member.

  • Patent number: 6068523
Abstract: A circuit molded structure in which a crack is prevented from developing when a secondary molded member is integrally molded on a primary molded member having bus bars. The circuit molded structure includes the primary molded member (40) having a plurality of bus bars (42) insert-molded therein, and the secondary molded member (30) formed integrally on the primary molded member (40) by secondarily molding a resin on those portions of the primary molded member (40) other than terminal portions of the bus bars (42), the plurality of bus bars (42) forming internal circuits. Bent portions (45) of the bus bars (42) are exposed, and the secondary molding is effected with the exposed bent portions (45) covered with a resin spacer (47). As a result of the provision of the resin spacer (47), the resin will not flow to the bent portions, and the thickness becomes uniform, and any crack due to expansion and shrinkage will not occur.

  • Patent number: 6055067
Abstract: In a multifunction image processing apparatus, a CPU uses a QNT/PM, as used for copying and editing, to store image data received by a facsimile controller during a time zone when the apparatus is not used for other than facsimile reception, as in the night. In initiating an operation other than facsimile reception, such as copying, the CPU allows the image data retained in the QNT/PM to be printed out by a laser printer. In the event of failure to print, or in the case of confidential data, the image data is stored/retained in a file memory in a facsimile controller.
