The Vespidae wasp repellent according to the present invention is characterized in comprising a compound represented by the following formula (I) as an active component: wherein R1 is hydrogen atom or the like, X is a C1-4 alkylene group or the like, ? is a substituent, n is an integer of 0 or more and 5 or less.
