  • Patent number: 9004662
Abstract: A filter, the alignment of which does not need to be adjusted, and an ink-jet recording apparatus having such a filter are provided, the ink-jet recording apparatus capable of avoiding leakage of residual liquids in filter exchange operation. The filter of the present invention includes an upper capsule member, a lower capsule member, and a filter medium. The upper capsule member has a central connecting port and a peripheral connecting port, and also has a pipe section that extends, within the capsule, from the peripheral connecting port to the vicinity of the bottom surface (the deepest section) of the lower capsule member. • Patent number: 8727466
Abstract: An ink jet printer which uses a common air pump to configure an air path system to supply purge air generated by the air pump to an ink tank and then supply the purge air discharged from the ink tank to a print head or an air path system to supply purge air generated by the air pump directly to the pint head. This solves the following problem inherent to a conventional ink jet printer which recovers ink not used for printing: since an air pump for supplying air to air-purge the print head and an air pump for supplying air to air-purge the ink tank are required, the cost and weight of the printer tends to increase.

  • Patent number: 8567928
Abstract: A configuration of an image display apparatus which can reduce a pump exclusive for solvent is provided. The image display apparatus of the present invention is provided with an ink chamber in an ink supply path from an ink container to a printhead and a solvent chamber in a solvent supply path from a solvent container to the printhead. The ink chamber and the solvent chamber are formed by dividing a liquid chamber by an elastic member (diaphragm), and volumes (capacities) of the ink chamber and the solvent chamber are changed by a pressure of the ink.

  • Patent number: 8337004
Abstract: An ink jet recording device comprises a main body equipped with an ink container, an ink supply pump ink, an ink recovery pump, and a control unit. A printing head equipped with a nozzle emits ink supplied from the main body as ink particles. An electrification electrode electrifies the ink particles and a deflection electrode deflects the electrified ink particles. A gutter collects ink particles which are not used for printing. An exhaust circulation path connects the ink container and the gutter. The gutter comprises two members of an ink flow path block in which ink flows and an exhaust flow path block in which exhaust solvent vapor flows.

  • Publication number: 20120200622
Abstract: Leakage of an ink remaining in a gutter or the like is prevented. An inkjet recording device includes an ink tank for retaining an ink, a nozzle for discharging the ink as ink particles to print on a printing object, an ink supply unit for feeding the ink from the ink tank to the nozzle, a gutter for recovering the ink particles which are not used in printing in the ink tank among the ink particles discharged from the nozzle, an ink recovery line for returning the ink particles recovered in this gutter to the ink tank, and an ink recovery unit disposed on this ink recovery line for recovering the ink in the ink tank. The inkjet recording device has a gas-liquid separation unit for separating a gas returned along with the ink particles through the ink recovery line, a gas supply line for feeding the gas to the gutter, and an atmosphere relief line for releasing the gas from the gas-liquid separation unit to the outside.
